Review: This movie has got to be one of my faves by far. The plot line is excellent, as well as the dialogue. Definitely a must to all movie-goers who don't mind a bit of nudity and language (okay, quite a bit.)

Summary: Neve Campbell steals the show
Review: Wild things is an easy movie to love. It tells the story of a Blue-Bay highschool teacher ( Dillon ) who is been accused for rape by two of his female students , spoiled rich kid Kelly ( Richards ) and drug-addict basketcase Suzie ( Campbell ) . Did he really do it ? The script provides more than just a yes-or-no answer during the one and a half hour the movie lasts . It includes a little more than a few plot twists and manages to constantly suprise us and turn things around. In addition to all that this is an extremelly well-made film , surely one of the sexiest movies you'll ever get the chance to see.The love scenes are simply sensational , steamy yet never cheap.All the members of the cast deliver some good perfomances but eventually it's the two girls who stand out. There's a first-class chemistry between Campbell and Richards . Campbell gives her best perfomance yet as confused freak Suzie.She totally crashes her next-girl image and prooves she's capable of playing many different kinds of characters with equally good results.It's actually weird that after that role she disappeared from the spotlight when one might have excpected that then was the time where her star would rise even higher.Denise Richards is really charming as Kelly Van Ryan too.She's one more person i hope i'll be seeing more in movies in years to come.Also great are many of the supporting roles.Bill Murrey , Daphne-Rubin Vega , Theressa Russel and Robert Wagner have all been smartly casted in roles they seem to fit perfectly with their physique . Director McNaughton knows how to handle all the above and achieves to make a movie you won't feel bored with for even a second.Let yourself free to enjoy the guilty pleasures of this film which combines crime , corruption and sexuallity so succesfully you'll have to see it twice to believe it.

Summary: A campy delight!
Review: Normally, I am not much of a fan of campy movies. But this one is about as good as they come. Director John McNaughton and his fine cast know just how to strike a balance between that which is funny and that which is utterly ridiculous. Nothing, not the plot, not the sex and not the violence in this picture are meant to be taken seriously. And yet I found myself so wrapped up in the story and mesmerized by the film's mood that the final twist at the end, though I expected there to be one, was supremely satisfying. This is the kind of film that manipulates its audience it such an obvious manner that knowing you are being manipulated becomes part of the fun. All four of the leads are excellent, especially Matt Dillon (when is he ever BAD in a movie?) and Neve Campbell. But the supporting performance by Bill Murray is so good he almost steals the show. Film buffs, in particular, will love the way this film is structured, filmed and plotted. It may not be Oscar material, but despite its campiness it is far smarter than most Hollywood films.

Summary: A WONDERFUL GUILTY PLEASURE!
Review: I'm a 47 year old accountant. I should not have like this movie. But I did. I rate it 4 out of 5.I love suspense/thriller/ mysteries...especially if they have plot twists. Some erotic scenes don't hurt either. And I can enjoy and appreciate a little camp now and then. This guilty pleasure has it all. I think "Wild Things" was done in a serious manner, but meant to be taken as tongue-in-cheek. It's not high brow stuff. Just a fun romp. Besides Matt Damon, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Murrary are fun to watch. Shhhhh....don't tell anyone I liked this movie. Namaste'

Summary: Hot & Wild
Review: All the performers are excellent here (Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon, Neve Campbell, Denise Richards, Bill Murray). The plot twist is great, some even very unpredictable. You just have to see it. The love scenes are hot as well. The DVD is excellent with great picture quality and excellent sounding Dolby 5.1 surround. Get this DVD both for contents and technical quality. Highly recommended.

Summary: Totally Unpredictable!
Review: Wild Things is one of those movies where you believe something one moment, and the next, they prove you wrong. That's what makes it so fun. That basically explains what heppens in the entire movie. Denise Richards gave a good (and SEXY) performance, Neve Campbell, and Matt Dillon also. Kevin Bacon was more serious in this movie than in Hollow Man (2000). Overall, I never took my eyes off the screen one time, which makes it an exceptional thriller. The DVD is great, has a great price, so buy it!

Review: After the movie ends, you would know that this movie could have been GREAT! Could have if the story was told in another way... If the same scenes where rearranged, it might have been acceptable! What makes this movie so bad, is that for almost two hours the movie tells you nothing but lies! And after the movie ends (yes and credits start), then the truth is told! Not a twist, not a surprise but totally new revealing scenes of a different story. This is a very bad way to make a movie...

Summary: edgy with unexpected plot twists but rather juvenile
Review: All of the characters were too obvious and base for this to really be a great film. But what do you expect from a film marketed to teens? Shakespeare. I don't think so. And that's not to take anything away from the numerous rather surprising plot twists. But the film just never quite gets it. I personally would have liked to seen more of Theresa Russell. Now that's a real woman and not a little girl like the two other primary actresses. It's worth a rental when you've got nothin' else to do just don't expect too much.
