Summary: Production money wasted
Review: I must say that I was very dissapointed with this movie. Neve Campbell's role was very minuscule. Poor Screenplay, poor acting-poor-poor-poor. This was just another one of those over hyped movies.

Summary: "54" is a terrific movie
Review: Whoever thinks that the movie "54" is dumb --- is

just plain mistaken! I loved it! I just couldn't figure out exactly what Neve Campbell's character

was supposed to bring to the tables.

Summary: BIG SMILE, DANCING MOOD, HOT STAR, JUST GREAT!
Review: Studio 54 is a place almost everyone dreams of and the fever is so contagious, it makes you wanna dance and dance and dance. Everybody can relate to the simple guy that wants to escape normal life for a change and be outragious and party! The roles are played very well by talented actors and actrices like Ryan Philipe and Salma Hayek. Just sit back, relax, get into the movie and you'll find yourself knodding your head and moving your feet and you'll be in Studio 54, and what a great experience that is!

Summary: Grows on you
Review: The first time I saw this movie I didn't think much about it. Now I've seen it about six times and its actually better every time. The best line - "Let me get this straight. You want a job. Shouldn't I be taking MY pants off"?

I am the same age as Shane in the movie, am from Jersey and moved to the Big Apple, just like him. I did go go discos but never to 54. I wish I had.

Summary: A good attempt to what went on at 54
Review: 54 was an okay movie. It had its good and bad parts. Acting wasn't the best, but the music and soundtracks are awesome! It was no Fever, but hey, nothing will ever be as good as Fever. Movie was very accurate to what went on, but they could have shown more about all that went on. I would say see it if you want. Definately buy the soundtrack.

Summary: Disco is Dead.
Review: If they EVER release this film on widescreen i think i'll keel over and die just like that old lady did on the dancefloor. (which was the only good part of this film). "54" lacks style which is an absolute essential if you are making a period piece.. If Spike Lee directed this movie, i think it would have come out so much better. Not only was the acting lousy (did they actually think Mike Myers was oscar material here?), the entire premise of the story was way off base!

I did not feel like i was being shown an authentic glipse into the 70's. I felt isolated and unattached to the characters as well.

54 is a lost cause. I felt like i witnessed the night disco died. They didn't even showcase half of the songs that made that era what it was! What a crime! Blondie is probably all up in arms over that! 54 had no emotion or feeling and did not live up to the prestige of it's own namesake. Your better off watching Saturday Night Fever AGAIN. Oh well.

Summary: Just Crap
Review: This movie is just plain dumb. I would give it zero stars, but, sadly, that's not an option. Don't waste your time, or money on this film A great dissapointment.

It's also the waste of a good idea (a movie based on the happenings at Studio 54 would be cool if it was actually written semi-interstingly) and a waste of excellent actors (Mike Myers, Neve Campbell, Ryan Phillipe, Selma Heyak, Brecken Myer, Heather Metazzario. Must I go on?)

DON'T SEE THIS FILM!!!!!

Summary: A time of sex, drugs and freedom.
Review: On this film the 70's nightclub 54 is brought back to the memory. When Shane O Shea (Ryan Phillipe : I Know What You Did Last Summer) is luckily wanted as a bar attender in the nightclub, more than luck is attended. He meets the love of his life Julia Black (Neve Campbell : Scream, Scream II) who is beautiful, rich and Shane would be more than happy to take her on board! Not only does this excellent story tell of a bar. It tells of drugs, sex and freedom. But how do all these 54ers know that there favourite nightclub will be around forever? Steve Rubell (Mike Myers : Austin Powers, Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me) is currently arrested for a drug overdose which the cops think is a bit... find it to see about all this great stuff!!

Summary: 54 - FANTASTIC
Review: ABSOLUTELY FABULOU

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Fine Soundtrack, Fine Actors, Less Than Fine Script
Review: Mike Myers and Ryan Phillipe give inspiring performances in this glitter-fest of the Studio 54 scene. Salma Hayek and Breckin Meyer are excellent co-stars, but you may often wonder "why do I keep looking at my watch?" There's a bit too much "dramatic" (sarcasm here) performance by Phillipe, but Myers nails it nicely. Its nice to see Austin Powers get a little slimey. Neve Campbell, though a majorly hypped actress in the movie, has limited screentime, but she's really not all that bad and a lot more interesting than the script sometimes shows.
