Summary: If you liked this tripe you must be DEAD
Review: This was the standard rerun plot of all teeny bopper movies. It was not original or imaginative. An Ms Dunst needs to wash her HAIR it was disgusting. Even after a shower it is greasy!

Do not waste your money, I had to write this review to bring down the rating average, it is not a 4 star movie!

Summary: Best romantic film I've seen in a long time
Review: Lately, Hollywood has thought that romance only worked with comedy, and put together far too many films based on that combination. Crazy/Beautiful, is not a romantic comedy. It is a wonderful romantic drama with characters you care about. I cared about these characters because they were easy to identify with and yet still incredibly complex. I won't say much about the story because it's familiar - boy meets girl, they fall in love, go through a crisis, recover and go on loving each other. What's important is that this story is told very differently from the typical romantic comedy. And that is what makes it great. I highly recommend that you see this film, though I wouldn't take along the kids - don't let the PG-13 fool you, this is a mature film.

Summary: I Love Jay Hernandez!
Review: Crazy/Beautiful was the best movie that I have seen in a year! I love the blue tint that the movie had to it. Kirsten Dunst was so ragged in the movie, but so believable. Jay Hernandez played his character perfectly! The storyline was one that all teens can relate to. I just saw it last Friday and I definitley will go see it again. I will also have to buy it on VHS when it comes out!

Summary: Refreshing and light hearted.
Review: I did not really know what to expect when I went to see it. But based on that, I did get my money's worth back. Just a light hearted romance (rich girl, poor boy) movie with a parellel story of the complexities and upbringing of the 2 characters from different economic backgrounds. But all in all, still a lay back, relax and watch kinda movie with some look into personal issues that young people deal with.

Kirsten Dunst gets a big thumbs up!! Looking forward to some more good acting from her. Casting was done well. I liked the fact that the director decided not to have subtitles for lines spoken by the mexican-origin characters in the movie.

Summary: I loved this movie so much.
Review: Kirsten Dunst and Jay Hernandez were so great together in this movie. Kirsten does a really good job playing the role of a girl who has serious emotional problems because her mother committed suicide when she was young. At the beginning of the movie we see her taking some kind of medication, so we know she is seeing some kind of a psychiatrist. My best educated guess is that her problems stem from the fact that she is depressed and she is also very angry at her father because she thinks that he thinks she is just like her mother. She is an alcoholic and likes to act wild and crazy and out-of-control because she cannot face herself and her problems.

Given all this, it is at times hard to believe that Jay's character, who is incredibly down-to-earth and focused on his career plans for the future, actually falls in love with Kirsten's character. But then when one considers how beautiful and charismatic Kirsten and her character are, it is not so hard to believe that Jay's character does fall in love with her despite the fact that he crazy and out-of-control behavior scare him at times.

Jay's character, whose name I cannot remember, his dream is to be a pilot in the navy. In order for him to get into the school where he will learn how to be a pilot for the navy, he needs someone important to sponsor him. Kirsten's character's father is a congressman. One does not need to be a rocket scientist to see that this is where the climax of the movie is going to center around. The father tells Jay's character that he will sponsor him for the naval academy as long as he stops seeing his daughter. Not because he is prejudiced against Mexican-Americans, but because he thinks that if Jay's character keeps seeing his daughter that this young man's life/future will somehow be ruined because his daughter is so out-of-control. I will not tell you what Jay's character ultimately decides to do. But I will say that the movie ends happily, which is a big plus in my book.

Summary: "Crazy/Beautiful"
Review: I personally thought that "Crazy Beautiful" was an awsome movie. This movie is well worth seeing! "Crazy/Beautiful is one of the best movies I've seen in years. While this movie isn't really appropriate for young children, it is excellent for teens and adults. If you like romance movies with some humor, I urge you go out and see the movie "Crazy/Beautiful."

Summary: An average teenage romp
Review: OKay, first off. I am a 16 year old girl who generally does not enjoy going to see films indented to entice the "youth of America", nevertheless, I went to see Crazy/Beautiful. I almost walked out within the first half hour. It was such an overgenerlzation of teenagers and basically told today's youth that sex is meaningless and doesn't need to be safe.

On the postive side, the film did a great job of showing the different lifesytles of teenagers and how it can effect two people's feeling for one another and those around them. Kristen Dunst's acting was very, very good and she remains one of the very few younger actors that I can stand. She gained my respect when she was 11 for her role in Interview with the Vampire.

Overall, this film is not overally special. It's not an epic. It's actually rather dull and overdone, but for the few moments were the film really shines, it's worth it to sit though the lesser scenes.

Summary: Love*Hate*Imagine*Life*Wild*Ecstacy*Hope*Dreams
Review: I thought this was an great romantic flick. When I watched it I was very touched & it got my attention really quick! In the movie Kirsten shows her wild & crazy side,& Hang Time's Jay makes his first big impact on the big screen. If I were to summarize this movie it would be about- A troubled rich girl (Kirsten) gets involed with a poor, straight-A student (Jay) from the "wrong side of the tracks." As their relationship grows, her problems threaten to destroy his dreams. I totally recommend this movie!

Summary: LOVED THE MOVIE
Review: I just loved this movie. I am such a sucker for the wacked out romance plots. It kinda reminds me of another movie I once saw. But it really gives it a kick with the great acting! Anyways, I just loved it and the soundtrack should be awesome! GO see this movie...greate date movie! :)
