Summary: Horrible, Horrible movie
Review: There are so many things wrong with this movie, it would take a good hour to go through them, and my pizza is getting cold. So let's just say that the storyline was one of the worst of all times. Heck, the "Police Academy" movies had more of a storyline than this! The acting was not good, and I usually like both Willis and Jackson. I didn't like any of the characters, which makes a movie very hard to enjoy. A half hour into it, I started to think "okay, when is it going to get good?". An hour into it, and I was looking at my watch wondering how much longer this movie was gonna be, and I haven't done that in YEARS! There is just no payoff with this movie! flat out! I liked the director's previous movie, but I wasn't ecpecting lightning to strike twice, and boy, did it ever miss. The previews and trailers for this make it out to be far from what it actually was. The only good thing about the experience was that about 80% of the audience in the theater were also grumbling about how bad it was. I just wish more of them would leave reviews to save others from wasting their money. Avoid at all costs. Now back to my pizza...

Summary: One Simple world: Intense! The review...
Review: Going in to this movie, I hade very high hopes. I have heard both good and bad about this film. I personaly think this film is great. The film reunites Bruce Willis with director M. Night Shyamalan, who first worked together in the The Sixth Sense. The film is comical, with its dark humor from Samuel L. Jackson. I will give a short synopsis of what the film is about. The film is about heroes. Sort of comic heroes with powers unlike any others you ever heard of. Samuel L. Jackson plays a man who ever since he was born, has been injured very easily. It is a real disease that strikes to many people and leaves them in state of maddness. Jackson's character wants to find a cure for his cancer, he listens and watches any and all tragedys that are on the news, waiting for that on quote to say, "One survior, un-harmed". He finds this in Bruce Willis, a man who's life has been turned upside down by the derailment of an Amtrak train, being the only survior, and to be unharmed. Together Willis and Jackson make a movie that is Unbreakable. The negative reviews that are on here are unjustified. This is a strange movie I guess you could say, M. Night Shyamalan does a Alfred Hitchcock type move in being a part in his movie, the man who was suspected in having drugs. The "touch" scene Bruce Willis had was wonderus. The scene were he saved the family was Intense. I could not turn away a minute through this film. Yes, the boy was a "copy" of Osment but it does not really matter too me. I would highly recommend this movie. This is going to be part of a trilogy so I would suggest that you see this so you would not feel left out when the second then the third came out. {That is what happened with the X-Men movie with me. LoL} Hope I helped in you decision either way. A great choice. I will see again. Have a good one... Ryan

Summary: Unbreakable - As good as the Sixth Sense?
Review: This movie is awesome. I absolutely love it. One of my friends was complaining that it has no action. This is somewhat true. It moves slow, but still has some chilling scenes. The music, cameras, acting, direction, and sets are all great. The story is a little lacking compared to Night's last movie, but its still good and gives a great ending. As good as Sixth Sense? Not quite, but still an awesome movie. SEE IT NOW!!

Summary: WoW !! Just like SIXTH SENSE---It made you THINK
Review: I really enjoyed Sixth Sense and although this is much different it still makes you THINK a lot like sixth sense did. Another movie where you want to go back and watch it to see how GREAT m.NIGHT Shyamalan is as a director. Bruce WILLIS is the sole-survivor of a train crash and he has not one scratch on him---what gives---right away you learn what it is, but there is of course--a twist at the end. Samuel L. Jackson is awesome and it keeps you intrigued and thinking about this world Shyamalan has created for us now. GO CHECK THIS ONE OUT BUT -- Be prepared -- HAVE AN OPEN MIND ABOUT IT. ENJOY

Summary: Excellant cast and a great director.
Review: This is a well done thriller with great performances,particuarly from Samuel L. Jackson and Robin Wright Penn,and a totally original and unpredictable story. This film is not for everyone though,since it's nothing like The Sixth Sense and the entire film is directed in a depressing and dreary way. I especially loved the ending although,unlike The Sixth Sense where the entire film seemed to be an excuse for a great twist ending,this entire movie is good.

Summary: Avoid it at all costs...
Review: Unbreakable is not a masterpiece, it's not even good. The movie's premise (spoilers left out for those who want to see the film) is that an ordinary man survives a train wreck unscathed, and, through a questionable association with a comic book dealer, discovers that he can't be injured, and can't get sick. As the movie progresses, he discovers that he can peer into other people's lives, and find out about evil things they've done. By the very end of the movie he becomes a fledgling superhero and uses his powers to protect and help the innocent. The problem with the movie is not the plot (it's a cool premise), but the fact that the script, cinematography, and execution of the movie is so poor. The movie is incredibly slow, and takes itself way too seriously, but fails to do so in a convincing fasion. Everything is rationalized, but the reasons behind his powers, his counterpart, and even how his powers were detected are weak and rediculous. Even the last plot twist is predictable and boring. It's sad to see such a bad movie. People in the theater were literally groaning as they watched the end, and verbally questioning whether they should ask for their money back. I really expected much more after having seen the Sixth Sense.

Summary: Somber-fest
Review: Unbreakable has to be one of the darkest, most somber films I've seen in quite awhile. Here is a movie that attempts to take the superhero out of the comic book. Imagine Clark Kent at age 42 with a crappy job, a failing marriage, a strained relationship with his son, and an overwhleming feeling of melancholy that surronds his life. Then this Clark Kent one day finally realizes he IS Superman. This is the predicament of David Dunn (Bruce Willis). David Dunn is a real man in the real world who comes to realize that he is extraordinarily different. Brilliantly offsetting Willis's confusion is Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) who is on a desparate search to find someone who is indeed a super being. Elijah, avictim of a congenital bone disorder, is fragile, isolated, and at times, almost a crazed skeleton of a man. Samauel L. Jackson is remarkable as a man shaped by tragedy and the unfairnes in life searching for hope and the definition of his own role in the world. The music, lighting, cinematography (and hey I actually have studied cinematography so I can pontificate about it all I want)all lend themselves to the sobering sadness that washes over these characters. My chief complaint is that this movie needs a little fine tuning. We need a little more at the end (although the final shot of Samuel L.Jackson is incredible) and a little trimming in the middle. But definitley give this film a chance...there have been many detractors...but make up your own mind. I have found that I cannot stop thinking about this film. I look forward to seeing it again.

Summary: Unmemorable.
Review: So Shyamalan and Willis got together, made "The Sixth Sense," one of the most moving films ever, and as this movie might say, "we gave them our credit card number," showing up in droves for "Unbreakable" on opening weekend. We remained glued to the screen for the first hour, despite the overuse of slow-motion and the minimal dialogue, because these guys did "The Sixth Sense," and waiting that one out paid off, right? And "Unbreakable" also foreshadows a big surprise. But it's not that big and not that surprising. You don't need to bring any hankies to this movie. Bring several enemies instead, thereby wasting their time.

Review: Genre: drama (for the poor audience) Unbreakable in this movie must be only the b...s of the poor audience. Never in my life I saw something as boring and ugly as this intollerable and stupid movie. Nothing here is good. Locations are ugly, so the costumes. Story is a real nonsense. Bruce shows just one of his only two expressions. The direction is always very very slow (indian timing). Cinematography is dark and bleak. The music seems like in an epic movie of 50s. I rate this movie 1 like BATTLEFIELD EARTH where at least there where some nice and strange piercing on the nose (and that's it) If you are curious for watching this movie wait for it on TV or go to the theater at your own risk
