Review: I loved this movie.I love Selena's music also.The one person I really hate is the person that killed Selena.I was wondering why didn't she just shoot her self and leave Selena alone.I beleive if Selena was alive she would be a great singer.

Review: Selina was and is an inspiration to so many people. She was so kind and loving. This movie shows everyone how beatiful she was. I think everyone should see it. It makes you appericated everyday you have because you never know what will happen tomorrow. I cry eveytime I see it. Selina was just about to become famous and her life was cut short by a selfish woman.

Review: I love the movie Selena.Jennifer Lopez did a great job of portraying Selena.I think im gonna cry just thinking about the terrible way that she died.I would die to be able to see her again in a concert or anything.This movie is good for all races not just Latino.

Summary: An excellent movie for music-lovers
Review: I had heard about the movie SELENA when it first came out, but never got around to seeing it. Several weeks ago, my cousins rented the movie, and I watched it with them. The plot completely wraps you up in the story of Selena's life, from her beginning as a singer, to her tragic murder at a young age. On the verge of becoming a popular singer in the United States, Selena was killed. But her wish to share her talent with the world lives on through this movie.I give this movie only four stars because not everyone would like it. It's kind of a "girly-movie" that boys probably wouldn't like. Except for that, I recommend SELENA to everyone.

Summary: It was the best music filled movie I've seen!
Review: 'Selena' was such a great movie. It has great music, beautiful songs, talented actors, and a great show of Selena's life story. All the actors, especially Jennifer Lopez, were fantastic! The movie was very fun and entertaining, but sad as well. I'd recommend it to anyone, Latino or not, just to someone who likes great movies with a load of music, a touch of a beautiful singer's life, and a dash of sadness. =( My 'job well done's to everyone who worked on the film. (=

Summary: Beautifully written and played that touched alot of people
Review: I am trying to teach my two young girls the value of friendship, love and understanding of society that plauges us with many differences. This movie moved my girls along with me. They both love all of Selena's songs and dance moves. They even try to act and dance like her. I tell them if you believe and work hard at anything you want, it will come true. During the ending; first time watching, we were very much shocked and hurt why someone would want to do that. My girls had nightmares for a while. They also wanted to know what the difference was between Latin-American. My girls are 2 1/2 and 6 years old. They are half American and Korean. I try in my best way to explaine the differences and hopefully I came across to them as you can be whoever you want to be and love anybody no matter what ethinic they are. We have watched your movie so many times, I've lost count and thats why I would love to see the movie out so I may purchase one. I have also seen many of Jennifer Lopez's movies and I envy her. She is such a beauty and such a motivator. Makes me a little jealous, she's my age and has so many talents. But thats not the issue. Keep it and Thanks. -"Selena" and Lopez Fan

Summary: one of lifes greatest tragedies and losses
Review: As a 60 year old grandfather from the east coast I knew nothing of Selena until I saw the movie. I was immediately struck with the quality and range of her voice. While in San Antonio a few week later I bought all of her CD's I could find. Today, even though I do not understand a word of Spanish, I play her music every day and never tire of it. At least once a day I say "I just don't believe that someone would kill such a beautiful talent." Also, as a father of 4, my heart goes out to the family.
