Summary: "The sequel was better..."
Review: I saw "Final Destination 2" first, so I felt I really needed to go back and see this one, and when I did I was kind of disappointed. The only two redeeming qualities were the clever kill scenes, the part where Devon Sawa is rolling down the hill and he rarely avoids getting impaled through the face by the branch, Death's numerous and freaky appearances, and the fact that Seann William Scott (Stifler from "American Pie" 1-3) was in it. Otherwise, the movie was overall plain and boring. The previews made it look quite scary, though.

Ali Larter, I would have to say, is not the most attractive female I've seen in movies, but then again neither is that Terri girl. Devon Sawa doesn't look anything like on the cover of the movie. Like I said, Death appears various times, not as a 9-foot cloaked skeleton with a scythe, but just a pitch black shadow. Other than that, the movie was overall dumb.

Summary: Death, is at your finger tips
Review: If you love horror movies then watch Final Destination 1 and 2, it has lots of horror, comedy and suprises. The actors and actresses in those movies are spectacular. Let me worn you when you see the second one watch your step because death may be coming for you next. Both movies defently are a teen thriller. The first on was about when a class goes on a field trip to Paris. But will they make it. Only 7 people survive in the beggining, because of Alex (played By Devon Sawa) has a dream that scares everyone. he is fourced of the plane with some of his friends with him, when they are of the plane you see the plane taking of in the back round suddenly BOOOOM you see the plane exploding in the backround shatering the air ports windows. giving a chill to viewers it was just like Alex predicted in his dream the people who survived are frightened by Alex. As the days go on the survivers start readjusting to their lives till suddenly misteariously everyone starts to die that was supposed to die on the plane. It was part of "Deaths Design" they all start to die in the order that they would be sitting on the plane. Can they find away to escape Deaths Design? Well just watch and find out. The second one is about 4 teens who are driving to Daytona Beach for the summer in the beginning of the movie. While they are on the highway Kimberly (played by J.T. Cook) had a vision involving a big pile up as she looks around she sees a bus of kids yelling "Pile Up" Sees a drunk driver, she then turns on the radio it was saying that there was going to be a mermorial for the crash of flight of 180 (since it was the one year anniversiry) she changes the channel and the song "Highway To Hell" comes on" then all hell breaks loose on the highway. everyone is dead, their red car rolls over Kim looks over than you she comes back to reality she holds up the traffic when a cop talks to her suddenly she is pulled away by the cop when a truck runs through her car killing everyone in it.
the cars in back of her were supposed to be in the crash but they escaped Deaths Design now all of the people who surrvived start to die in the order in which they were supposed to on the highway. again how will they escape from diing? You will love both movies. there is lots of glore in the second one you will watch it and you will love it :)

Summary: I rarely give 5 stars.....
Review: This is one of the greatest scary movies out there. If you think its just another teeny slasher movie its not. All people who want to be scared should see this!

A senior french class is going on a trip to paris, but one of the kids falls asleep and has a vision of the plane exploding. He freaks out and some of the kids get thrown off the plane along with one teacher. They are sittin gin teh airport mad at this kid when they see their plane take off and seconds later explodes. They had cheated death........but not for long.
The great part about this movie is that its not a person stalking you, but its death itself. It kills you in ways that look like freak accidents. Another great part about this movie is that it doesnt concentrate on blood and guts but instead makes you wonder how death is choosing the order of the people to die (which is very creative). This movie is thrilling, scary, and all around great. Everyone should see it!

Summary: Not scary, not creepy, just silly
Review: I really don't understand why some people liked this movie so much. I suppose the movie's premise deserves some credit for its originality (a rarity in horror films these days), but basically it just seemed to degrade into a bunch of utterly ridiculous, Rube-Goldberg-type ways for the victims to die. If you saw some of these scenes by themselves, you'd think they were taken straight out of a comedic parody like "Scary Movie". And don't expect any real logic in the storyline either. Why is the main character suddenly having these premonitions? What makes him so special? And why doesn't "Death" simply hit them with a lightning bolt, instead of going through all these impossibly complicated machinations? Normally I like to suspend disbelief in a good horror flick, but the absurdity of the situations just kept bringing me back to these fundamental questions. If you're just looking for a light, tongue-in-cheek suspense/horror movie, this will do. But there are other movies with similar premises that have far more interesting characters and a more intriguing study of fate, death, and what would happen if you were blessed (or cursed) with such knowledge (Cronenberg's "The Dead Zone" with Christopher Walken comes to mind).

Summary: A very underrated movie
Review: Even though everyone loves FINAL DESTINATION, it definately deserves more recognition from the critics. It's such an original horror film, which is what I really like about it. You can't compare it to any of the other horror films over the last 20 years because every single one of them are the same thing: "knife-wielding psycho killer on the loose" type-thing (though the HALLOWEEN and SCREAM movies were quite good) whereas FINAL DESTINATION doesn't technically have a "killer" because the killer is Death itself, as in the actual figure of Death. Not the devil, not a visible killer, but actually Death. It's hard to explain. But it's so original and very exciting! It's just so...good! I know I never could have come up with an idea like that and I don't think I know anybody who could have either. So, you could just watch throat-slashin' Michael Myers over and over again (even though he is cool) or you could get a nice, original hunk of horror. It's your choice, but I know what I'd pick.

Summary: Better than the second one!
Review: This is the best and scariest movie I've ever seen. This is better than the second one, Final Destination 2. The second one is very, very boring. The way they die didn't seem creepy at all, except for the death of Evan and Kat. The second one also doesn't have a nice ending. Not like the first one. I'll rate the first one, 10000,0000 stars. Meanwhile the second one, 2 stars. The first one have a very realistic starting and ending. Where the airplane explodes, and Carter dies. The favorite actor I like in the first one is Devon Sawa, meanwhile the actress Ali Larter. Ali Larter is a very good actress. She can act very, very well. Just trust me, watch the first one instead the second one!! You won't even feel sorry for watching it!

Summary: SEE 2 INSTEAD
Review: The first movie is awful, boring plot and horrid acting unless you enjoy the Dawson's Creek cast. This movie starts out bad with a plane crashing(how original) and ends up dragging along the rest of the movie too. Also what happened to Ali Larter she looks nasty in this movie,at least she could have kept my attention to make up for a boring movie. This is an example where a sequel can be better than the first. SEE THE FINAL DESTINATION 2,INSTEAD OF THE DREADFUL FIRST ONE

Summary: STUUUUPID!!
Review: I thought this movie was pretty dumb. "Death goes in patterns."
Puh-lease! I highly reccomend you don't even rent it if you have not seen it...it sucks big time! DO NOT watch it or you will waste an hour and a half of your life away...trust me, this is bad!
