Summary: The Love Letter
Review: I stayed home from the office today and watched Kate and Leopold, another time travel movie. Aferwards, I got out my video of The Love Letter to watch. I was in sentimental mood, and I thought what the heck, I haven't watched it years. Although, I liked Kate and Leopold, The Love Letter is so much better and touched me more. I realized how much more, when I started crying when Scott sees the grave of his beloved Elizabeth and reads these words that are etched on her tombstone "I never forgot". Thank you Dan Curtis for making such a beautiful movie.

Summary: What do you expect from Dark Shadows Director?
Review: If you have read all the other reviews and you like fantasy, time travel romance, you will like this movie. I always loved Dark Shadows and I liked this movie and will get it soon. At the time it was on tv I thought it reminded me of Dark Shadows then I found out that Dan Curtis had directed this. He was the director or producer of Dark Shadows. This makes a lot of sense for him to make this movie if you have ever seen the old tv show or the remake of Dark Shadows. Time travel was one of the things explored on the series.

Summary: The Power of Love- Even Through Time
Review: I remember the when this movied premiered on CBS. (They'd been advertising for a while and complete fell in love with the commercials.) I totally and completely fell in love with this movie. (I taped it, so I didn't have to buy it. haha)And, I watched it as many times as I could. Unfortunatly, I accidently deleted it. I plan on buying it soon and I'd recommend it to everyone...P.S. It's mainly a "chick-flick". Luv and Peace

Review: Other reviews will give a brief synopsis. I'll just make this short and sweet. I am a normal red blooded American male 46 years old. When I saw this movie for the first time yesterday (3-9-02) I cried. Yes I admit it, I cried. It's a beautiful story. Clean, decent, no bad language. Heart warming. You will not go wrong buying it.
(4-4-02) PS. The music is also beautiful. I hope some day they bring out a music soundtrack CD. I wonder if Amazon.com knows if this might happen???

Summary: I was in this movie!
Review: Yes, you'll see me in brief close-up during the charge, mouth-open, red shirt peeking out from underneath blue Union army jacket. Despite working on the set of this movie outside of Petersburg a few years back, I also LIKE this movie, and I'm a guy. It's clever, delightful, yes a bit predictable. But still a great movie if you truly have any soul. The sort of love we all search for? Yes, I think so.

Review: The Love Letter is one of my favorite movies. The DVD is definitely worth buying if you like time travel romance. However, be warned: there are no extras like interviews or a "making of" feature. Every DVD I've seen so far has special features so I was surprised and extremely disappointed to find nothing but the movie on this DVD. If you want to see additional features, buy the Hallmark "Gold Crown Edition" VHS tape.

Review: When I just go through this movie from the national movie channel, I rocket to the internet without any breakfast to search any tips about this movie. I have no idea what impulse me to do all of these, maybe power of love, similar feeling of the four dimension, or a belief of a kind of time machine can travel through the reality and fantasy. I am reading H.G. Wells¡¯s ¡°Time Machine¡±(1870)and did some related investigation about his novels and inner spirits. When I happen to turn my focus to this, subconsciously, I realize that I start to pin my hope on his impossible imagination from this moment..

Review: I just finished this movie after recieving if from amazon.com. I had it taped from the time it aired on television, but when I found it on DVD it was a must-have for my collection. "The Love Letter" is a wonderful story that leaves its viewers dumbfounded. I must admit (I'm a little ashamed of this)- I do, from time to time, check for secret compartments in antique desks. We can all hope, can't we?
