Summary: A rather pleasing erotic thriller in the mold of Scourned.
Review: It's not a book but a video and Jaime Pressly is the female lead. A very attractive blonde in what seems to be her first role. It's in the same league as the Shannon Tweed film Scourned and just as flawed from time to time. This is not like Verhoven-Douglas-Stone mega hit, but more an after midnight Showtime/HBO R rated romp. More than a silly excuse for a plot placed between Jaime Pressly taking her clothes off (which she does several times and she's rather hot). Her acting is generally above average. It runs more like a Red Shoes Diary segement than a Love Street segement. Well worth a look if you're into B softcore stuff with more than just a silly plot. END

Review: Jaime is the sexiest woman I've ever seen , I mean WOW! I seen this and was instantly hooked . Enough for me to give it 5 stars , hell she's naked like 5 times and even when she's not Yowza !! Great flick if you're a fan of hers .

Summary: Jaime Pressly is the only feature here
Review: Jaime Pressly is a knockout, but that's about as far as the movie goes for interest. She's a young woman who returns to a home where her mother had an affair with the father of a family when Jaime was a child. Supposedly her mother's life was ruined by the family after the affair was compromised and Jaime holds the family responsible. So she's up to some evil tricks for revenge. It's fairly erotic and Jaime Pressly is worth seeing. Not a lot of difference between the "R" and "Unrated" version (both available on the same DVD). What's hilarious is the "letterbox" mode that only imposes black bands on the upper and lower sections of the screen, there's no actual change in the ratio of the screen, except that the upper and lower sections are covered to create a letterbox format. Best to watch in the full-screen mode.

Summary: the best T&A movie I have seen in a long time
Review: Jamie is so hot in that movie. If you want to see Jamie Pressly naked than this movie is for you. But if you are looking for a movie to show your kids steer clear of it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Lighten up! It's just a movie.
Review: Let's see. A good hint that any plot you might decipher from this movie (other than T&A) is an obvious afterthought might be the fact that it is "unrated"! Hello! It's 85% sex and nudity! Who needs a "plot"? This isn't just sex and nudity for its own sake either. Well, actually, maybe it is. The naked women are gorgeous and sultry, though. Athena Massey as Rebecca and of course, Jaime Pressly as "grown-up" Violet turn in top-notch performances in the flesh.

In the interest of fairness, the plot is defintely weak but believe it or not, is not as weak the bad reviews here are making it out to be. There have easily been thousands of "naked seductress wreaks havoc on hometown" movies and this one is no better or worse than any of them, story-line wise. But that's not the point. This is not *supposed* to be an intelligent movie. So if you don't get turned on strictly by the hot, barenaked bodies, you're definitely thinking too much and taking the movie entirely too seriously.

Summary: Jaime Pressly
Review: Lets face it, she is the hottest in this movie. Tons of "full" nude scenes make this movie awsome. My favorite is when she strips in front of the pool, then goes for a swim. I love you Jamim!

Summary: fair movie, but jaime gets me all riled up....
Review: Movie is actually a fairly well done genre thriller. Someone's got a secret....

Jaime 'acts' and looks good!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: HOTT Jaime Pressly, Good plot idea, but not much texture.
Review: PART 1 - THE FILM.

OK, I gave this DVD 4 stars because Jaime Pressly is a great, good lookin acctress, and its worth buying the DVD just to see her! And the plot has a good idea, but hard to fallow with hardly any dialogue. But the eye candy alone is the only reason I bought the DVD, and it was well worth it, Jaime Pressly is great in the whole film, and she is has about 6 nude scenes, and the nude scenes are creative also.

PART 2 - THE DVD.

OK, The DVD comes with UN-rated and R-rated versions, and Widescreeen and Fullscreen options for both. However, I watched the DVD on my PLAYSTATION 2, and I could only get the Fullscreen R-rated version...can anybody help me??

Summary: The joke is on me
Review: Picked up a used copy of this DVD and didn't look carefully--I fully assumed I was taking home the original "Poison Ivy" with Drew Barrymore and Sara Edwards. As I now know, this edition of "Poison Ivy" brings the Violet character (lovely Jaime Pressly) into the lives of banker Michael Des Barres (Ivan) and tennis star Megan Edwards (Joy), who's eager to please a hard to please dad. Violet is returning to her childhood home a decade into the future and carries considerable baggage from her past--which is intertwined with the aforementioned characters.

Although the first "Poison Ivy" wasn't exactly "Citizen Kane," it did feature fine performances by Barrymore and Edwards. Not in this bomb, however. There's nothing mysterious whatsoever about this flick--it's clear that Pressly is on her way to seducing and/or killing each member of the family. This is supposed to be an erotic flick, but because there's nothing remotely sexy in Violet's mannerisms and actions, the sex scenes are ice cold. Eventually the maid gets wise to Violet, but it's too late for her. Ditto for Joy's boyfriend (whom Violet has already seduced). Ditto, eventually, for Ivan (whom Violet has already seduced). But what's truly ridiculous is the ending. There's no point in going into it--suffice it to say that it makes no sense whatsoever and completely sinks this wretched film.

There are rabid five-star reviews for this film, and I have no doubt that most of them came from the enjoyment of Jaime Pressly in the buff. I understand--but it is possible, guys, to make good movies with steamy sex scenes. Takes good directing and acting. This has neither.

Oh, yeah--if it's worth anything to you, you can watch both the R-rated version and the unrated version on this DVD.
