Review: I love this movie. It has actually changed my life. You should see what my friends call me now. It is a really really good but I can see why a lot of people didn't like it. I thought Sean did a great acting job and I thought he looked really good too. And that's all I really have to say.

Summary: A great movie that sparks ones intellect and compassion
Review: "Powder" taught me how messed up our world really is. Even though almost everyone discriminated against him in the movie, Powder still emitted a little spark of hope. He saw beyond and into people, and he made me think of the overall worth and value of being yourself. For some reason that I cannot understand, "Powder" has got some bad reviews, but what I don't think these people are really seeing is that everyone has been in Powder's shoes at one time or another. This movie is definitely a keeper and one to remember.

Summary: The Gospel According To Stupid
Review: Oh No! It's the Albino Electric Mime from Heaven! Sean Patrick Flanery, wearing laughable white face makeup, makes his way through this mess of a movie as some sort of allegorical albino Jesus character with an affinity for electricity.As with many of these types of movies involving a character who is supposed to be "different and misunderstood," the producers of Powder made certain that Flanery is surrounded by total morons throughout. From the cops to his schoolmates to the parents, everyone is guaranteed to treat Powder as the outcast he is inevitably supposed to be. Even Jeff Goldblum, who has a scientific interest in the kid's electrical weirdness, takes a long time to reason anything out. And the ending is hilarious. I won't give it away, because if you've stuck with the movie for this long (undoubtedly for comedy relief), then the big punch line is at the end. I assume the ending is supposed to be making some sort of "Big Statement," but....Bwahahahahaha! How lame! Rating: Overall:2 Stars Unintentional Comedy Value: 5 Stars.

Summary: Reflective, and a true picture about our society
Review: This is not a happy movie, but it has its times, but the main thing on the movie is that it teaches u about the real meaning of truth and love, shows you that love is powerfull and it is highter than things such as outside beauty. I highly recommend this movie who wants to make your life better for yourself and to others around you.

Summary: Laughably Bad theme. Best comedy of the year!
Review: The main character , if you can really call him one, is an anemic holed up genious, who is brought out of hiding to be reassimulated to the outside world . He does not fit in, and gets tormented by bullies. Instead of finding common ground , he longs to go back into the basement, where he stayed his entire life. At the end of the movie Powder runs from his mentors, and rehabilitors to the middle of a field where he mysteriously self destructs. Best part of the film, especially since its the end . This movie trys to teach us to pity those that are shy and dont fit in with society and assumes they are pure and inoccent. Big crock of shit. However, like the first reviewer I'll get It 5 stars if you are searching for something truely bad!

Summary: Is this a joke?
Review: Powder? I don't get it. The film is the tale of an albino christ figure with electromagnetic telekinetic powers. I think mediocre is an overstatement. Honestly, I consider this film the worst film I have ever seen. Yet, it does not fail as a film, as horrible as it is. Powder seems to be an inside joke that never reveals its punchline. Why 5 stars? Because, Powder is such an awful film, that there is something wonderful about it. It is not good enough to be camp. Powder is painful to watch, yet it is for that reason, I love it. I'm amazed it grossed 29 million dollars domestically. Check this film out. It's wonderfully awful.

Review: This is a real classic movie and my favourite movie - it teaches you something about humanity. I have read the other reviews by Maltin and Amazon.com and I think that they are not very good reviews especially as they don't seem to be very reflective and accurate reviews to what the majority of viewers have thought about the movie in general which is a very good movie indeed. I definitely recommend everybody to watch this movie.

Summary: Awful as a jawful of rotten falafel.
Review: Powder is in a word: amazing. I don't know if I should call it camp, cheese, or a cinematic disaster. Mediocre would be overshooting. This movie may be the worse film ever made. I can't believe it made money. Even more unbelieveably, I meet people who honestly have loved this film; people whose lives have been changed by this film. Honestly, it is such a blast to watch, one almost forgets that Jeff Goldblum in the movie is in it playing someone who is pretty much the same as Jeff Goldblum. Perhaps it is a self-reflexive examination of a Christian's quest through a desolate world. But I'd rather believe it's just a funny movie. Maybe not ha-ha funny. Powder is a joke that is a giant 2 hour punchline with no preparation. This movie is awesome. I wish my mom had gotten hitten by lightning when she was in labor with me so I could be like powder. That'd be the best. Being albino would be cool enough, but a telepathic christ figure is about good as it gets. Oh, sorry to ruin the end of the film but Powder runs into a field and explodes into pure electricity. An allegory or a punchline to a joke that no one gets. Beats me, like a whip.

Review: I can honestly say I loved this movie! It made me want to cry! I just barely saw it and it has now become my favorite movie--- it is an amazing film! Go see it!
