Review: All right. Listen. City of Angels has been called sappy, with a predictable ending and single-faceted characters. WRONG. City of Angels is a beautiful movie that makes you smile and cry at the same time. For anyone who has lost a loved one, this movie will make you realize that life does go one after death. Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan play off of each other maginificently, and even the soundtrack can make you cry. The ending is slightly predictable, but if you actually WATCH the movie, you will realize that the ending is the only way it could end. City of Angels is a movie that can make you smile through your tears, and this movie will stay with you for a long time.(I also think Nicolas Cage is so hot it isn't even funny, but...) City of Angels is just one of those movies that will touch every person in at least some small way. If it doesn't, then you've never felt love. OK, the ending IS predictable, but you have to be an insensitive nitpicker to hate the whole movie on that one premise. Anyway, the ending makes the movie all the more poignant and beautiful. A great movie with amazing leads and a superb supporting cast! A real tearjerker!

Review: I saw City of Angels for the first time in the theatres, and I couldn't stop crying, which to me is a good indication of how awesome the movie is. I love Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan, but together, they're even better! The story may sound weak if you just hear what it's about, but once you see the actual movie, believe me, it's SO good! The soundtrack to this movie is incredible as well, as an added bonus.

Review: I really enjoyed this movie. It was entertaining and I thought that both Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage did an excellent job at portraying their characters. It even brought me to tears at the end.....most movies don't do that!

Summary: A lesson in learning to appreciate the small things in life
Review: I enjoyed this movie very much. The cast is terrific. Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage in the lead, and supporting Dennis Franz was excellent in this film (I discovered his acting for the first time). "Homicide"s Andre Braugher also had a small supporting role. Since I watched the movie, I have not looked at the world the same. It is a small lesson in appreciating life within the larger story of romance. It is wonderful in its examples of how humans take for granted all the world has to offer. Beyond the romance, I think the story of this movie is to not let life simply pass you by, but to actually touch, feel, and smell all that life has to offer. You never know how much longer you may have the opportunity. The other main focus of this movie is the romance. You find yourself wanting Seth (Nicholas Cage) to get the girl, but you also know the possible disadvantages of his choice to be with her. In the end, once the decision is made, he must accept whatever consequences life hands him. I gave this movie only 4 stars because toward the end of the movie, I predicted what was about to happen and was not happy with the fate of some of the characters. Overall, it was great and I recommend it to all hopeless romantics.

Review: Meg`s great, Nick`s great, so the result can`t be anything but great! I must say, I was expecting another one of the typical "Meg Ryan-movies", if you know what I mean. Boy, was I wrong! This movie is about the kind of love that most of us only dream of. To have someone wanting YOU more than anything else in the world. Someone whose life has no meaning if he/she can`t be with you. I`m not going to say anything about what actually happens in the movie, coz that would just wrack the excitement, wouldn`t it? If you`re only going to see one movie this year, make sure it`s this one. You`ll love it!!!

Summary: Best movie after Braveheart
Review: A very nice movie that especially the more sensitive people amongst us will appreciate. Nicholas Cage, playing one of many invisible angels, and Meg Ryan, a surgeon, are both top actors and bring their acting with devotion. Especially the ending is very touching and had almost moved me to tears. Only Braveheart, though not really comparable, did better in my opinion. So, a full 5 stars for this must-have movie.

Review: Although this movie had me interested at first, on second glance, I realize the plot had some predictable turns and that it just isn't 5 star material. I love Nicolas Cage and he is one of the most powerful actors of this decade. I just hope that his next movies are not so transparent.
