Review: This has been categorized as a "chick flick." I really disagree. It was a true love story. It was slightly unusual which gave the movie great character. The best one-word description is unique. N. Cage is one of my personal favorites. Meg Ryan is cute as ever and a great mate to this angel. Dennis Franz did a fine job as another angel in this film. The ending was sad but touching. I rank this movie right up there with another of my favorites, Ghost.

Review: While some people would dismiss this as a "chick flick", it goes much beyond that. The imagery is wonderful and the premise eerily wonderful. I think the visuals will draw you back to the movie time and time again. In the way that Cliffhanger made you scared of heights, this movie will make you relish them.

Summary: favorite movie
Review: I loved the film. It is true that the end is a bit dissapointing, but I don't think it's a bad film because of that. The first time I saw it I thought it was the best movie I'd ever seen (I still do so now). I went to see it four times and I still didn't have enough. N Cage plays beautifully, M Ryan too. I actually fell in love with the angel myself (N Cage is very handsome). This is really a very romantic and emotionnal story.

Review: The movie is simply breathtaking. The scenes, while edging on being slightly predictable, wraps you within its embrace right away. You forgive the perhaps cliche ending and enjoy the movie for what it was: a great love story. Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan, two of Hollywood's best actors teamed up to bring a little romance, a little mystery, and a little love to the "real world." The movie takes you on a journey and it makes you realize things about what women want, and about what you yourself want from the opposite (or same) sex. Most people find it difficult to get close to someone else, and City of Angels shows you how to enjoy someone---how to truly appreciate them.I personally think it's one of most well done movies I have ever seen. It is powerful and very moving. Go watch it even if you have already seen it. And if you haven't seen it already, what are you waiting for?
