Review: When i went to go visit my friend in Canada we decided to go see it. When it ended i knew i had just seen one of my new favourite films of all time. My friend thought otherwise. The chemistry between Cage and Ryan was so beliavable they worked like "Angels" together. The love was visiable. I can not wait to buy this on video and if you liked the movie i recomend the soundtrack a defiantly must see. My favourite movie of '98 by far...

Review: Not to mention whether this film is good or not, which is a matter of personal opinion, I'll talk about one of many messages the movies tries to deal with: It shows us how we forget to appreciate the little things that life provides. We forget to enjoy and thank for a simple touch, a simple breath, and these things which we forget to give the value they deserve, and although we have more complex feelings, in the end they turn out to be just the application of the simple ones to more complex situations, and Nicholas Cage is so brilliant in this one, the way he sends all the messages he has to only with the expression, the look, the mind, absolutely brilliant, no one can miss.

Review: If you see this film, it can change your point of view about the things arround you. Is not a movie for people who enjoy seatting in a sofa, drinking a beer watching the football game, and if not, some movie. If you are that kind of person... forget it,this is not your film. This is a dramatic film than needs more then just your attention.

Review: This movie was incredible. It was ingenious and very artistic. I found it to be very romantic and I cried the whole movie. I have seen the Titanic also, and I do believe this movie was much better!! I would recommend this movie to anyone.

Review: I loved this movie. I think the casting was the best that could be.Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan played their parts so well that you wished that you were one them. you put your self into feeling what it would be like to make the decisions that had to be made. I didn't like the end ,but in real life every thing does not always end perfect!!

Review: I truly enjoyed this movie and could identify with Meg's character. She had a great job, a "boyfriend", a dog, a house, and yet felt empty, restless, and uninspired by life. The soundtrack and exceptional cinematography add to the overall haunting and melancholic feel of the movie.

Review: Well, usually, I'd love a movie with either (or both) Nick Cage and Meg Ryan. I've been waiting to see this movie for a long period of time, and when I saw it, all I can say is 'it's ok'. Summary: perfect dramatic romance in view of today's ideals
Review: City of Angels is certainly not the best movie I have ever seen, and you must keep in mind that I am a cynic at heart. I watch, on average, 5 videos a week and feel that this is definitely a movie well worth the price of rental. I would defy all but the purest Bruce Willis action movie fan to view this film without some sign of a tear to the eye. Though slow to get going and odd at the end, the viewer can certainly identify and sympathize with Ryan as the tortured surgeon, or Cage as the pitiful, soul-searching angel. A movie not to be missed even if you want to hate it.
