Summary: Worth Seeing
Review: I know this movie was not a big hit when it came out but it is really a good film. Harrison Ford is great as one of his most likeable characters that I have seen him portray. Henry, a corrupt lawyer who withholds evidence when his client is obviously guilty and a womanizer is seriously injured in a robbery. When he comes to, he has lost his memory and has to be re-taught just about everything. His teacher is a very virtuous man, who teaches Henry to enjoy the good things in life (Henry loves most of all Ritz crackers). Thus the mean, cheating Henry who forced his daughter to remain at a boarding school that she hates, is suddenly transformed into a kind man who cares about everybody's feelings.

Eventually, he figures out that the Henry he once was was a horrible person and he hopes never to go back to that life.

Annette Benning is great and beautiful as the wife that had an uncaring husband who all of a sudden loves her more than anything. She has to decide if she is ready to leave the life they led with other uncaring and obnoxious friends.

Priceless scenes, especially those involving Henry and his secretary!

Summary: One of the best movies ever
Review: I love this movie! Harrison Ford is one of my favorites, but he really shines in this movie. He goes from ruthless and cunning, to sweet, innocent and loving. And the little girl who plays his daughter is wonderful. I have seen this movie many times, and I take something new away from each new viewing.

Summary: A tear-jerker
Review: I'm not normally one to cry during movies but this sure made it hard not to. I'm sure you could argue that it was a pretty predictable movie but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Harrison Ford's worst film -- until "Random Hearts"
Review: I'm sorry to be the contrarian, but really, was there any scene or role in this film that wasn't totally predictable? The unhappy high-powered New York lawyer and his equally unhappy wife; the African-American physical therepist; the high-powered mistriss; the unhappy-at-the-boarding-school daughter; the poor plaintiffs in a civil case who get the shaft from the high-powered, unhappy New lawyers? The characters are recycled from other characters in the same film, for cryin' out loud. Show some originality. The only thing that makes this film at all palatable is the premise that if you shoot a lawyer in the head, it might make him a better person. But wouldn't you agree that the film is too long just for one lawyer joke?
