Rating: Summary: This movie has it all. Review: Unless you are ragingly asexual, strongly against promiscuious behavior, and dislike comedy, drama and tragedy, there is a good chance that you will find something good to say about Cruel Intentions. Guys like it for the "scoring", cool cars and sometimes scantily clad cuties like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Selma Blair and Reese Witherspoon whereas girls can appreciate the tragic true love stories and of course RYAN's BUTT! I think a reason why people love it so much is that they can relate to it- everyone has wanted to be bad at one point in time but most people don't carry it out. Besides a delicious cast, great performances by Gellar and Phillipe, believable chemistry between the actors and a massive soundtrack, this story managed to make me laugh out loud and cry in the same sitting. It has a great moral, too: what goes around comes around.
Rating: Summary: No! Review: No. This movie is not sexy, not cool and definitely a [piece of poo]. "Cruel Intentions" tries everything but misses the bull's eye. Ryan Phillippe doing his best Justin Timberlake, makes a bet with his stepsister (Sarah Michelle Gellar) that he will win over the virgin of the country (Reese Witherspoon). Gellar's performance was nothing admirable compared to a high school cheerleader's dance routine. What happened at the end? I don't care. After watching the "Mighty Ducks" boy wrestling with another guy in bed, I had to turn it off. Thumbs down kids.
Rating: Summary: Cruel Intentions is great! Review: This movie is my favorite movie ever. It's so great and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe play excellent roles not to mention Reese Witherspoon, my favorite actress, who plays an innocent virgin in the movie. It's a wonderful movie for everyone (unless you're offended by sexuality) but the plot is awesome, Katherine (Gellar), Phillippe's step sister plays an exciting role in seuducing Sebastian (Phillippe). This is a must see and you're going to love it! I guarantee it!
Rating: Summary: Cruel (sexy) Intensions Review: What more can be said about this movie? The sound track is great, Sarah and Ryan, Reese and Selma all fit into the film perfectly. The rather twisted story about a step brother and sister's sexual deviations just adds more flavor to an otherwise excellent movie. Ryan and Sarah interact pretty well. And who can forget Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar's smooching in Central Park. (Which won an award for best kiss of 1999) If you're into twisted, modern young and filthy rich movies (The In crowd is good too) this is one to get. If you are a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan you get to see some of her best acting ever in this film (as well as her real hair color.)
Rating: Summary: This movie is so cruel, you have to love it. Review: Phillipe gains my respect as an actor in this movie. Kumble has directed a great movie here that was the one of the biggest surprises. Gellar is teriffic as Katherine and Reese Witherspoon is great, as usual. This movie is funny, and the end, it is a story about redemption that ranks it among my all-time favorites.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE THIS!!! Review: I have seen this movie 3 times. Oh! I love that so much. I love them, Sarah, Reese, Ryan and Blair. So now I want to have that. If I were you, I would see it.
Rating: Summary: Ways better than the stupid sequel Review: I saw the sequel (Crue Intentions 2)before I saw the original and I was disappointed. But the original is a phenomenal erotc-thriller. Gellar is really talented! Which of course she proved that in 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'... I've never saw her so evil. She can play any part great! Good character, the helpless victim, and the evil villianess! I loved this movie (don't watch the second!)
Rating: Summary: JUST PERFECT!! Review: I THINK EVERYONE MUST SEE SEVERAL TIMES, BECAUSE YOU CAN FIND EVERYTHING IN THIS MOVIE; FUN, LOVE AND CRUELTY. RYAN PHILLIPPE WAS GREAT!
Rating: Summary: Cruel, very cruel Review: This movie was great! Ryan Phillipe acted well, Sarah Michelle Gellar looked beautiful as always, Selma Blair was hysterical, Joshua Jackson, well let's not talk about his character, and Reese Witherspoon was typical superb. Watch it!
Rating: Summary: Sudductive and intriguing performances Review: This film was incredible and yet intriguingly naughty. Great for all audiences who are of age.
