Review: Cruel Intentions may be the most under-rated film that I have ever seen. What started as a leap of faith at the video stored soon became pleasent surprise, that was eventually replaced by an overwhelming awe at the lack of critical acclaim surronding the film. A 90's version of the classic Dangerous Liasons, created to expose the Generation X & Y viewers to a heavier dose of ligitimate drama in a contemporary setting.The young talent in this film transformed into characters well beyond expected limitations. Rarely am I taken by a film as I have been by Cruel Intentions. After you see it once, you will see what my "rambling" is about.

Summary: Thrilling, yet surprising
Review: Well, the first thing to say was that the characters were well picked for there roles. (Phillipe) gave a yet another great performance as well as (Geller) They were put together very well. This was a very seductive, thrilling, sad, and dramatized movie. I agree that you watch it more than once for sataisfaction.

Summary: I was disapointed by this film.
Review: I was very eager to see the movie Cruel Intentions because it had a lot of my favorite ppl in it. However, it wasn't as great as it was made out to be. It was an unrealistic plot, which was all about sex, and they way you can turn yourself into this monster, this sex crazed monster. I would not recommend this movie for anyone under 18.....it is jus too much.

Summary: This movie was excellent and a must-see!
Review: I just saw this movie and it was excellent. The way Gellar and Phillippe portray cruel people is great. I was really into it the way they played their characters. Phillippe is a hottie and was picked well for his part. Reese Witherspoon played her character well, but I think she did better in "FEAR" with Mark Whalberg. I deffinately recommend this movie for everyone to see. I'm buying this movie when it comes out.

Review: Cruel Intentions is the only movie I've seen in theaters three times, so take my advice, this movie is well worth watching! Ryan Phillippe is irresistibly sexy as the cunning bad-boy Sebastian and his real-life wife, Reese Witherspoon, is dynamite as his most challenging sexual conquest. Selma Blair is also a scene-stealer as the hilariously dim-witted Cecile, as is Joshua Jackson as the gay drug dealer. Plus, the soundtrack to the movie is one of the best I've heard. You won't be disappointed in this clever and often darkly humorous movie!

Summary: Fantastic for all ages
Review: I think many people would write this off as another teen flick in the midst of lots of mediocre ones. But Cruel Intentions is so wonderful; it is sexy, romantic, smart, and sassy. It may not be realistic, but it is a masterful teenaged interpretation of Les Liasons Dangereux. This movie really touched me, and I think it was well done and very entertaining.

Review: It would astonish me if any of the positive reviews are coming from people over 13. The net impression of the film is that Gellar, Phillippe, and Witherspoon look good. The love professed between Phillippe and Witherspoon in the film comes out of nowhere. I actually left this film depressed. Depressed that a movie like this gets funded by studios, when so many more worthy stories need to be told. Movies like this present an image of human life which is not only ugly but untrue. I wouldn't turn any of the cast members out of bed, but I will certainly tune them off of my screen hereafter.

Review: The acting of Sarah Michelle Gellar was simply irrestable. The scary thing is, is that Sarah Michelle Gellars character is played so well. It is also a streach from her character on the wonderful hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Ryan's character was also excellent. Reese Witherspoon's characted was good about being a virgin without pushing her virginity down peoples throats. Selma Blair's character was also played in a wonderful way. The movie was a creative and excellent. It was also was a provactive and intriguing film. I highly suggest it for anyone who enjoys a film with good taste.

Review: I thought this movie was great.Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon worked wonders on screen.Selma Blair was hilarious and Sarah Michelle Gellar was totally believable as the rotten Katherine.This movie may not have been some super remake of Dangerous Liasons...but for those of us who never saw that movie it doesnt really matter.And the ending was totally unpredictable...
