Summary: Wow! Amazing!
Review: First of all, I would have to say that this movie one of the best I've seen in my life. I wouldn't say it is the most touching or funny movies ever, but it sure was entertaining. Sarah Michelle Geller looked so pretty on the screen and every actors in the movie did a heck of a job. I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone. They turned the old novel to today's theme perfectly. One of the most riveting films ever.

Summary: Hott young actors-actresses makes a hott movie !!!:)!!!
Review: I loved the movie sooo much. I was awesome how Ryan Phillippe(hottie), Reese Whitherspoon, and Sarah Michelle Gellar can play such seductive characters, which is unlike their earlier work. Cruel Intentions has such an interesting (although cruel) plot, everyone is sure to love it!!! The characters explore a different world than everyone sees in the average day in New York. I also love it simply because of Ryan Phillippe who is very talented, and well, lets just say he has a nice back view!!!

Summary: Two thumbs down
Review: If you've had a fine, "politically correct" education at MTV's school of higher learning to supplement an I.Q. of around 50, this is the movie for you, otherwise, I don't recommend it.

Summary: Wicked yet humorous at the same time
Review: All I can say after viewing "Cruel Intentions" is that it's just stunning. This was a very interesting movie of seduction, but also it was quite funny at some points with how Selma Blair portrays her character.

The actors and actresses were remarkable. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays an entirely different personality than she does in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which shows how talented she is. Ryan Phillipe was outstanding being cruel and sexy at the same time. Many kudos go to Selma Blair in the way she acted like a total looney.

The style of clothing was extremely suave for Kathryn and Sabastian. Sophisticated. My kind of style

Toodles!

Summary: Poor, very poor.
Review: This film, while working on music and good filming, is based on poor acting, and a worse script. It operates, moreover, on ideas and principles which, while quite appropriate in the eighteenth century Paris portrayed by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, are totally out of place in twentieth century Manhattan. The script is "based on" the 1988 film "Dangerous Liaisons" to such an extent that the lines can be seen five minutes before they are actually spoken. The characterization, again, appropriate for the aristocracy of pre-Revolutionary France, is out of place, unnatural, and utterly unconvincing. The basic precepts of the film also do not ring true. The idea of deflowering Cecile de Volanges worked in the original plot, for it was set in a time when a woman's virginity was considered important. Why it should be of any concern in the New York prep-school of 1999, however, is never explained. The idea of Katherine Merteuil weaving her plots in order to enjoy a measure of freedom and power worked in the Paris of the 1700's, but it does not work in the Manhattan of the 1990's because it is never made clear what exactly stops her from enjoying life openly. All in all: this film is based on unconvincing and out-of-place premises, poor acting, unnatural characters, a distinctly inferior script, and a huge amount of media hype. It may be worth seeing for the music, or for the sake of contrast to other, earlier, and decidedly superior films based on Choderlos de Laclos' novel. . .but those are the only reasons which could possibly make it worth watching.

Summary: Clever and Wicked, A Real Winner
Review: Sara Michelle Gellar gives a wicked performance as Kathryn Merteuil. She is Cruel in every way. As I could say the same for Ryan Phillippe who plays Kathryn's step brother Sabastian Valmont. These two incredible stars shine in this movie, and being Cruel is their best game. Kathryn is out for revenge on Cecile, (played by a newcomer Selma Blair who gives an excellent performance) who had stolen Kathryn's boyfriend away from her. Cecile did not even know about Kathryn . Kathryn decides to get revenge on Cecile by taking her under her wings and then destroying her. Sabastion agrees to aid her in the conquest. His Conquest is Annette Hardgrove played by a wonderful actress Resse Witherspoon. There is a bet between Kathryn and Sabastian. The bet is that if he can convince Annette in to sleeping with him he will get what he never could have, his sister. If he wins he gets Kathryn, if he looses she gets his car. The movie is filed with deceit and cruel intentions. Sabastian falls for Annette. As Kathryn becomes more clever, she realizes that he does not want her anymore. In the end Kathryn gets what she deserves. This movie was one of the most provocative films that I have seen in years. This movie brought about clever acting and a new since on today's life.

Summary: An incredible movie
Review: This movie is the best youngster movie of the year. Gellar plays a very sexy part, and witherspoon plays the sweet and beautiful virgin. Plillipe is one of Hollywoods new young stars, and he is after my opinion much better then DiCaprio. So if you are looking for a sexy, romantic and exciting movie, this is the one you should see.

Summary: GREATEST MOVIE OUT

Summary: This film was decent.
Review: I thought that there was too much language and sexual content for a movie involving teens. The best acting came from Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon, who I believe were truly in love. Sarah Michelle Gellar's character was evil and sexy, but I thought it was okay so that's why i rate it 4 stars.
