Summary: Great, but not perfect
Review: A little too extreme for me. They could have decreased the importance of sex and drugs quite a bit and still the idea would have been great and the movie would have joined a wider category of people. I still loved it. I mean, the scenario was great and the end was not too cocky. I especially loved to watch Witherspoon. We could feel that she really believed in her character and did a great play. However, Gellar is so mean and wild, her play sometimes gets confusing and we feel that it's not really her.It was a great idea to introduce a totally new aspect of sex in this movie. This movie finally shows that if you really love someone, you're gonna stick with him or her, no matter how many partners you had before, because "love has its reasons that reason ignores".

Summary: Entertaining, yet underdeveloped.
Review: The script was witty and well executed by Pillippe and Gellar. I loved watching these two banter back and fourth about their conquests teasing eachother as they conversed, but I didn't find the love between Phillippe and Witherspoon's characters believable. It seemed to spring out of no where. They had a few heated arguments, one laugh and boom! They are in love! Is this like being on the play ground where the little boy hits the girl because he likes her? So Phillippe and Witherspoon fight a few times and we're supposed to believe tht Mr. Womanizer People User is in fact in love with this chaste flower and not meerly lusting after her? I don't think so.

Review: I didn't think this movie was as good as it's predecessor Dangerous Liasons, the acting was much better in Dangerous too. With the exception of Gellar. She is really a good actress, but from what i have seen her in for movies, she doesn't pick them very well. unless they are picking her. She is wasting her talents in this movie. Reese witherspoon is the only other actor in the entire film besides that i feel has any true acting ability. the rest of the cast is wooden, and ryan phillipe maybe cute but he couldn't act his way out of a paperbag. i gave this movie two stars..one for sarah and one for reese.

Review: it's been a long time since i've seen a movie like this one. i absolutely love the plot and the actors. the only thing i'm upset about is that Sebastian was killed. i really liked him.

Summary: Great sensual movie
Review: The actors and actresses performed greatly in making this movie one of my favorites and "must buy" list. If you haven't seen this movie, go rent it or buy it. One of my favorite sences is the kiss with the Buffy gal and the Zoe gal. It will make you feel discusted, but very interesting and great acting. Very funny (if your mind could process the dirty jokes). Recommend HIGHLY.

Summary: Cruel to be kind
Review: This 'update' of Dangerous Liaisons starts out as an enjoyably amoral, seductive film, with a campy performance from the lovely Sarah Michelle Gellar. However, it then bottles out completely and delivers a studio-friendly ending which just doesn't fit in. There's no denying that this film is 'sexy', and it draws you in quite nicely to the world that the characters inhabit, with Ryan Phillipe's brand of rather charmless acting actually working in this. Of the current trend of teen movies, this is certainly one of the best, but as I say, some people might not enjoy the ending which completely changes the message of the movie. The commentary is quite hectic, with so many people contributing, but the deleted scenes are interesting with a director's introduction for each one. However, the 'featurettes' are very dull and not as good as they sound. An entertaining film which never quite delivers the ending it needs, and doesn't reward repeat viewing.

Review: i really didn't think i was going to like this movie and in the end i did. the sets are impressive the acting is very clear and all the characters held my interest. the story rarely seemed to drag. it was something more than i expected and done in an exciting and tasteful way. definetly worth a watch.

Review: If you're looking for a movie with drama, humor, romance, excitement, good acting, a nice plot, a lovely "Bitchy" Sarah Michelle Gellar and a great soundtrack, this is the one for you :CRUEL INTENTIONS. Cruel Intentions is a great movie with some great (new) actors like "Sarah Michelle Gellar(Kathryn,with a totally other role as in I KNOW WHAT YOU DID.., SIMPLY IRRESSISTABLE or BUFFY THE..), Ryan Phillippe (Sebastian), Selma Blair (Cecile) and Reese Witherspoon (Annette). You must see it yourself, so add it to your video/dvd collection.

Summary: Hello!
Review: This movie is awesome. The way that Kathryn and Sebastian use each other. Then when Sebastian falls in love Kathryn taunts him about it. And then when Sebastian is killed and Annette makes copies of His Cruel intentions journal and gives it out the day of his funeral it is revenge. Aneete sees her in the bathroom and acts like she doen't know who she is and then bam she's taken down by annette and cecile. I have seen it 10 times.
