Summary: One of the hottest movies ever made!
Review: Cruel Intentions is one of the hottest movies ever made. Every scene is at least tangentially related to sex. A real eye opener, there are scenes of lesbianism, homosexuality, incest (or at least between step-siblings), inter-racial sex, and cyber-porn. At times a descent into rather base fantasies of revenge and seduction, it is redeemed by the fact that most of its characters at least look their age. Nothing is worse than a 30-year-old having to play an 18-year-old...vice versa would also be bad!

Review: This movie was just about everything that i would hope it to be. It is a wonderful story about jealousy, sex, love,trust and everything else. It was a fantastic updated movie of dangerous liasons. Sarah Michelle Geller and Reese Witherspoon were absolutly amazing..however it was not Ryan Phillipe's best roles.

Review: The producers of this movie really had crel intentions when shooting this lousy picture. The acting is horrible, the actor are irritating (mainly Ryan Philippe), there is not one convincing scene in all the picture. Only two times in my life I walked away from a theater in the middle of a movie, and one of these times was in the middle of this parody of a film. No, I'm not a little bit "shocked" by supposed sex scenes (I watch porn movies! ), but simple shocked by one of the worst scripts I've ever seen.

Review: First of all, I want to say that I didn't think that this should be considered a teen movie! There's WAY too much sexuality to this movie and if I had a teen I don't think I'd be too keen on them watching it. HOWEVER, I thought it was excellent! I thought Sarah Michelle Gellar did an excellent job and it also gave her a chance to be a little less "buffy-ish". A WAY different side of Joshua Jackson's ability to act (he's GREAT). Very sensual...much better than Dangerous Liasions in my opinion!

Review: This is appalling. Most of the high ratings for this movie are apparently from people not old enough to watch it without Mom and Dad along. I guess if you want your kids to become mindless, superficial, spoiled, trashy people like the characters in this flick, go right ahead.

Summary: Great movie, but watch out for tech problems
Review: Let me start by saying how much I LOVE this movie. It is a wonderful story, and the music fits in perfectly with the action of the movie. The actors do a great job (particularly Selma Blair, who was in her mid to late 20's at the time and played a 14-year-old very convincingly!) If you are offended by a lot of (often casual) sex in movies, don't get this one. Basically the entire plot of the movie revolves around sex (although there actually isn't that much nudity, come to think of it). There's also a lot of swearing and adult concepts that some people might find inappropriate. But hey, it didn't bother me. This may be my favorite movie of all time. The DVD is great--lots of extra stuff, like scenes that were deleted from the movie, a little thing that shows how it was made, and some music videos from songs in the movie. However, if you'll be playing this on a computer DVD drive, I suggest you call your system's manufacturer before you purchase it, and ask them if your system has had issues with this DVD. Because of the lack of a definite standart in DVD technology, some DVDs won't play (or won't play correctly) with some systems. This was true of my Gateway Profile. Just a precaution :-) But this movie is the best!

Summary: CRUEL SIMPLY RULES
Review: Over here in England Cruel Intentions is only a 15,which makes it highly popular and appealing to it's age group. The movie is great,the only problem is the slow beginning which actually derivates the films average slightly . Still the film is HOT and saucy. The plot is interesting with a mega twist towards the end that will make your stomach churn. Gellar and Witherspoon's performances are excellent and Ryan Philippe does well considering that he has been voted for one of the worst performances in movie 54. Cruel Intentions is a very different type of teen flick,nasty and raw to the bone.With a script that you could never imagine repeating to your average British boyfriend! The film is doing well in England at the mo' And let's face it,cruel definitely rules!

Summary: A seducing tale...that seduces you to watch
Review: 'Cruel Intentions', among all the other movies based on the same book of literature, has got to be the best. Yes, it is because it had some HOT young stars in (Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon), and also it was most wicked out of them. But there could be a moral to 'Cruel Intentions'....love can overcome all things. Even bratty step-sisters that doesn't just wanna ride your hot car.

Summary: One Fun Flick
Review: I like movies that are fun especially the ones that are based on great literature. Cruel Intentions is based on a classic story reset in modern times- but still manages to play like a period piece, which is what I loved the most about it. I loved the posh settings, the over-dressed characters and the overall look of this movie. Even the story interpretaion is more accurate (except for the ending) than I had first expected. My only complaint is that with the exception of Witherspoon and Blair, the acting is a bit strained. I am a fan of Phillipe, I liked him in 54 and Homegrown, but in this one, it seems he was a bit unprepared to play such a deep character. And I can't buy SMG as Kathryn, she's too goody-goody looking. Other than that, this is a must see, if anything, just for the great story.

Review: watch this movie for sarah michelle gellar, if you're not a sarah michelle gellar fan. Don't watch this movie! Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't get naked, but she has a lesbian scene and shows great cleavage! I admit, I was a little disapointed that SMG didn't get naked. There's this girl that has been a virgin and she had a boyfriend for years. Then there's this guy who likes to take girls' virginity away. In the movie, the girl was going out with the guy who had waited for her, and she just gave herself to the guy who liked to take the girl's virginity away, leaving the guy who waited, wasted years of his life and got nothing. A similar plot to this movie would be, Embrace of the Vampire. These 2 movies prove that if you have a girlfriend, you better make sure she's not gonna play you like a fool. That's what Cruel Intentions is about. The creator of this movie made this movie to point that out. :That don't wait for someone: because it could just be a waste of your time!
