Review: when i first heard about this movie i thought it was just going to be anuther (chick flick)but when i got time to watch this movie it realy has an out standing acting. I am not no critic for movies but this one i think every one should agree this movie is a superb introduction to the indristy, plus i have a big CRUSH on <Rees Witherspoon>she is so hot. there for plot was realy strait out coming ,very nice acting

Review: So maybe it's NOT the best movie of all time. Who cares? If you want entertainment this movie delievers. This film knows how to appeal to a specific audience(teens)using " todays hot young stars"...however, in this movie, they are at their best. Some parts of the plot are not nessary, such as Katherine's revenge over Selma Blair's character, but the actors made the most of an interesting, if just a tensy bit shallow plot. Reese Witherspoon shines in this movie, making her character indetifiable with in every way. Ryan Phillipe makes Sabastian's transformation extremely touching...and well, who can't love Sarah in her excellent portrail of a demon straight from hell that you pity while you hate? Watch this movie...you won't regret it.

Summary: Top Notch Cruel Stuff!
Review: Cruel Intentions is a sexy teen flick that's undeniably fun to watch. Although the situations are mature and the language not exactly Brady-like, the movie is brilliant. The acting is very good; the script is up-to-date and hilarious. This is comedy mixed with drama and love at its best. It can be hilariously witty at times and deliciously cruel at others. I never saw any of the other versions, but this adaption is definitely good, simply because it's a great movie. If you are under 10 you probably won't get some of the stuff but anybody older than that will love it! =)

Review: There is no let down...no anti climax....no disappointment...this is a wonderful recreation of Dangerous Liasons. Ryan Phillipe is to die for...Reese Witherspoon is positively succulent. The sex, the drama, the steam...it's wonderful. If mind games appeal, this is the movie for you...

Summary: Stunning look and feel - and wicked
Review: I enjoyed this film. Not for being a sort of remake of "Dangerous Liasons" but for the stunning look and feel of this movie. The creators outdid themselves making it look classy and stylish. SMG's and RP's "costumes" make you want to go out and buy these kind of clothes. The sets are wonderfully chosen and photographed. It's unreal, it's wicked and nasty and that's why I like it. It's something most of us are not and do not want to be but it's certainly refreshing to have a "virtual" go at it. The plot is consistant until Valmont falls in love when it starts getting a little choppy. The ending could have been more convincing. I would like to have seen Kathryn get away with it 'cause real life's like that. Sarah Michelle Gellar's performance as sexy, seductive and cruel Kathryn is highly enjoyable and convincing in the slightly surreal context of the film. She carries the film and contributes the twists and edges. Unfortunately many reviewers didn't understand the kissing scene with Cecile. Kathryn probably does not kiss her little "friend" because she's lesbian but because she has the power to make that girl kiss another woman. This of course is the theme of the film, of people using and abusing others, breaking hearts, hunting for human trophies. I applaud the makers for daring to leave the scene uncut. The DVD has a lot of extra material. The special on deleted scenes shows how most directors face tough choices when the final cut comes around.

Review: This film is beautifly put together. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays a great role as the ever so perfect Kathryn who's brother Sebastion is a sly ladies man. Reese Witherspoon acts wonderfully also. Sorry if I didnt go to deep into the movie in this certain review.

Summary: Great movie, not the highest replay value though
Review: I love this movie, I love it a lot. I dont think that there was too much homosexuality in it, and I think if its a good movie it has to warp a couple minds, thats why its rated R anyway. I like the manipulation that takes place in the story. Sarah Michelle Gellar has also never looked better in anything she has done. After I watched this, I said to myself, I didnt know movies could be made like this (I had never seen Dangerous Liasons) I was stunned and in awe. So I watched it again and again and again. It was great the first couple of times but there are points where the story gets too lovy dovy for me.

Review: I don't know what you negative-review people talk about! I have never seen Dangerous Liasions, but I really can't imagine as it was made a long time ago, that it is like THIS!. So why are you guys comparing these two movies and just don't see them on their own? What I mean is that in the original there are surely NO lesbians, NO homosexuals and certainly NO one saying : That's an orgasm! You should see them on their own. Anyway, I don't know much movies that make leave you sad, thinking and at the same time you are laughing your a.. off! The Plot itself is absolutely great and Sebastian's change to a good guy is absolutely beliveable. The Actors absolutely superb, just take Sarah Michelle Geller as the hot evil girl and Ryan Phillipe as the most arrogant and ignorant person I have seen in a movie for a long time. And if you compare his skills to Di Caprio: FORGET IT, HE IS A REAL ACTOR THAT DOESN'T NEED A BUNCH OF TEEN GIRLS SCREAMING AFTER HIM. I highly recommend this movie!

Review: I'm going to make this short and to the point. "Cruel Intentions" is a great movie. The performances, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Philippe, Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, Joshua Jackson, as well as Christin Baranski and Swoosie Kurtz, are all great and fun to watch. If you liked "Dangerous Liasons" you'll love this hip remake as well.
