Summary: IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE AND I LIKED IT ALOT.
Review: I LIKED YOUR MOVIE ALOT. I THOUGHT THE CHARACTERS WERE GREAT. I LIKED THE HORSE ALOT BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF MY HORSE.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: beautiful scenery, romantic movie
Review: I was anxious to see if Kristin Scott Thomas could surpass herself in this movie after The English Patient, (which is my all time favourite movie), but to my humble opinion she did not, and probably never will.

Summary: A horse that couldn't decide it's breed or markings??!!!
Review: In the opening while the credits were starting to roll it showed an Arabian with it's tail a fly a wonderful dished face and a diamond with a large white snip on its lower muzzle extending over the left nostril. Later it showed a Throughbred with a single white diamond , I don't know about you but an Arabian and a throughbred are not the same thing !!Plus the horses didn't have the same markings , and may I add that one of the horses had a white forleg . You may fool a casual observer with this different breed stuff but not us ,oh no , I am going to get started on the Quarter Horses now so hold to your hats . The Quarter Horse was ok but I believe that they used two different horses that of course had different markings . Where these people blind as they were picking out these animals and to shame them by trying to tell the viewer that they are the same is lutacrist!!!Not to mention the obvious animal abuse. I mean really , they should have at least shown the stops along the way from New York to Montana , plus not to mention other things I can't mention ,so all you horse lovers don't go see it but if you like romance you will be pleasantly decieved.

Summary: Excellent picture!
Review: This is without question a beautiful, emotionally moving film. What surprises me about it is that it did so poorly at the theatre. People that don't connect with this movie must have a miserable, shallow, uncaring outlook on life and probably hated Titanic as well.

Summary: Absolutely one of Redford's best
Review: My family totally enjoyed this movie! The scenery was beautiful. I enjoyed the book before the movie and was still captivated by the characters in the movie. Definitely a must see for anyone that enjoys a story of animals and family's in trouble.

Summary: Rarity...A great story line for the whole family!
Review: It's very hard to find a movie, now days, that you could have your kids sit and watch with you. I was mesmerized throughout, from beginning to end. Very well type casted. Brings out the romantic in all of us! But it's not just a romance movie.

Summary: Who Framed Robert Redford?
Review: We loved this movie in the theater and it was the first one we watched on our new DVD player. You gotta like a gunless cowboy flick. However, the disk has what I consider to be a production flaw: During the first three chapters, there is a black bar down the left side (only). This caused me to interrupt the movie and adjust our SharpVision projector to center the picture. But then in chapter four, the left side of the picture suddenly widened, projecting outside our screen's frame. This experience (director's intention or not) detracted mightily from an otherwise fine film, and our first impressions of DVD.

Summary: I am ready to move to Montana
Review: After watching the Horse Whisperer, I am ready to move to Montana. The cinematography is outstanding, the sound track is wonderful and the story line is heart-wrenching. I recommend this film to all.

Review: This is a movie worth seeing, over and over and over. Open your heart and enjoy.

Summary: nonbelievable.......Too-much drama!
Review: The Horse Whisperer is amoung the many horse movies that falsely shows the "real" lives of horses and the people they live with. First of all, this movie spent too much time on the life of the mother and the fact that she could not be faithful to the man she married. Second, I noticed that from New York to Col. the horse stayed in the trailer. Stopping once at a motel with a corral. That in it's self is cruelty to animals. Robert Redford should have taken more time to prepare this movie, to make it more real than he did.
