Summary: SHOWCASE FOR BETTE
Review: This is an okay movie about the lifelong friendship between two very different ladies. The story is a little too manipulative and pulls at the heartstrings a bit too much for my taste, but it is a good showcase for Bette Midler who gets to sing a few songs along the way. Barbara Hershey is solid as usual, but her role isn't anywhere near as flashy and prominent as Midler's. It's well worth seeing, but I wouldn't purchase it until I did.

Review: Bette Midler outdid herself with the movie Beaches, and with this soundtrack. It is the perfect soundtrack, with an array of different songs. The movie was spectacular, the soundtrack is too. It brings a tear to my eye every time, with songs like Wind Beneath My Wings, even the instrumental Friendship Theme. The songs are original, such as Otto Titsling, Oh Industry, Baby Mine, and more. She does justice to her covers of Under The Boardwalk, and I Know You By Heart. If you want an album of songs that make you laugh, cry, and feel good, you need this album.

Review: I've heard the songs on the CD, and I loved it. I can identify with them because I have a best friend (which lookes a lot like Bette herself...), but I think that anyone can understand and love these songs as much as I did. It's great!

Summary: Haveing a hard time, its the one to watch.
Review: Lately I have been going through a rough time and I have been either watching or listening to this movie. A friend of mine went through what I'm going through and did the same thing. It had everything,Romance,comedy,Tradgedy, and all the other things that make it the best movie ever. I will always watch this movie for the rest of my life with my friend.

Review: This is my very very very very very favorite movie. It is one to be seen with a friend or loved one and have tissues handy because it is sad. I would recommend this movie to everyone. It is a must see. It has been my favorite since 1987 when I was born and there is no movie that has been my favorite since!

Summary: Bette Midler's Best
Review: This is a wonderful cd! It is full of beautiful songs that are so filled with love, you can hear it in every song. The music is wonderful and Bette Midler really shines! If you don't like bette midler i would recommend to find something else, but if you've seen the movie and you loved it as much as i do then this would be a perfect for you or as a gift. In fact, I bought for my best friend when I graduated from high school and she loved it!

Review: The soundtrack to this wonderful movie is a one woman show for Bette Midler. I especially love "Wind beneath my wings" and "Baby mine". I should point out that Baby mine has diffrent versions depending on which CD you buy. I can't tell why or how to recognize the CD. You have to listen to it to realize the diffrence. Personally I love the version better, that seems to be rare, since only a few people I know actually have it on CD.

Review: I first watched this movie a few years ago..I loved it from the first time. I laughed and cried through the whole move. I think that many people, not only women being a "chick flick", but everyone can relate to having a best friend and the times you go through with them. Beaches is a must see movie for everyone, it makes people realize that true friendship which these two woman share is a very special gift.
