Review: American History X is without a doubt one of the most moving films of this decade. I reccomend this movie to everyone. Edward Norton gives an unforgetable performance as a reformed Neo-Natzi that struggles to rid his brother of the life that once consumed him. I haven't seen a film with such a group of memorable characters since The Godfather. Don't wait to see this movie, rent it!!!

Summary: Great Acting but Buyer Beware
Review: American History X is a powerful story, well acted all around, and definitely worth picking up on DVD. However, buyer beware, amazon.com advertises this film as having commentary by the producer and screenwriter. I bought this film thinking that it had great extras and this commentary is simply nowhere to be found. Amazon.com needs to be more careful when they describe the products that they sell.

Summary: truely convincing
Review: As a person with a degree in History, I was truely amazed with American History X. I have never seen anything like it. Not only did is show the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of racism, anti- semitism, you name it, but it did it in a way that could almost indoctrinate you. The cast is amazing, and Edward Norton was great for lack of a better word. I would recomend it to everyone.

Review: wow. simply wow. i walked out of the theater holding my breath, thinking to myself for the rest of the day. film is a powerful medium, and if there is one movie to prove it its this one. from the best performance i have seen in my life (ed norton) to the best told storyline it was just a totally amazing movie. very graphic, profane, and shocking, but NOTHING in the movie is unnecessary, it is all there to weave into the plot and give the effect it does. Review: American History X is the most unbelievable movie i've ever seen, simply put. I not only saw it twice in theaters but i bought it on DVD and already watched it 4 more times in a week! The movie never lets up in it's message of racism is not needed in society while Edward Norton has firmly established himself as my favorite actor over the past 5 years. In closing i'll just say that i never would consider writing something on a website about a movie, but this movie NEEDS to be seen by EVERYONE. Thanks to everyone responsible for making the best film of the decade.

Review: This movie is perhaps the most powerful film I've ever seen. I was left thinking about it for days afterwards. It gives true insight as to how a skinhead can be manipulated into thinking the way he does. It forces you to accept the reality of the horrible hate crimes that occur on a regular basis in this country. Definitly one of the best movies I've seen. Anyone who sees this movie will be forced to see the truth about hate, and it's lack of productivity and morality. It will force you to acknowledge the true threat of racist organizations in this country. Truly a powerful film!

The need to belong is a wonderful concept, but to experience it through violence or fear is unacceptable. And I believe this move is a great portayal of this and show that

Review: If any one is still wondering to buy the movie on DVD or video. GET THE DVD!!!!!!! The scenes that were cut out of the movie are great. It explains alot that was left out.
