Rating: Summary: There's just nothing like it! Review: DPS is the best movie I've ever seen ... the story is great, the setting is awesome and the script is smart. I love this movie!!
Rating: Summary: Dead Poet's Society Review: It was a great movie. It grabed your emotions and threw them out the window. It was sad, compelling, and interesting. I dont recommend it if you don't like a tear-jerking movie bacause that is what it is, but i loved and most people will.
Rating: Summary: amazing, touching story, greatest movie i've ever seen Review: This was the first movie that I've ever cried over. It shows how one man can make a difference. and break through the old boring ways of doing things to change the minds of his students for ever
Rating: Summary: A well balanced movie, one of my all time favorites. Review: The feel of this movie is second to none. For a director and staff to achieve this is mind-bending. A brilliant staff of young actors helped this story reach great hights. A very dramatic and the most touching movie, all climaxing right at the end.
Rating: Summary: A magnificent film, powerful and moving! Review: This film, depicting the impact a teacher can have on his students' lives, and the disastrous effects when their parents defy the free thinking he encourages, is inspiring and deep.Never again can you hear the phrase "Carpe Diem" without being filled with the desire to make your life extraordinary.
Rating: Summary: Finally, a movie that captures the emotions of teenagers! Review: This movie is simply incredible
Rating: Summary: Really Great Movie!!! Review: Robin Williams is wonderful in this film! If you like most of his movies this will add to one of your favorites!
Rating: Summary: Moving!!! Review: Dead Poet's Society, starring Robin Williams, Ethan Hawke, and a brilliant cast of others, takes place in a New England preparitory school. Williams' portrayal as the creative and liberal english teacher is top-notch. This movie is gives us a brief glimpse into ourselves and how we look at the world around us. Stunning scenery, intelligent writing, and moving performances make this classic a must see.
Rating: Summary: Sickeningly awful. Review: The only thing more nauseating than Robin William's overacting & pointless impressions and improvisations is the presentation of suicide as something noble and heroic. Having lost someone to suicide, this is the most disgusting, cowardly, and selfish act a human being can commit. I was hoping that "Heathers" finally killed off the ignorant sentiment of "self-sacrifice." Sadly, I was wrong. It also seems that Robin Williams is re-hashing this role in his lastest dud, "Patch Adams."
Rating: Summary: Two thumbs up!! Review: Not only the story but also the scenery is sooo beautiful! Peter Weir's works always have a sentimental appeal ("Green card" is also a must-see for the same reason!)
