Summary: Carpe Diem!!
Review: Watching this movie,I thought there are some common feelings with the students around us. The school in this movie is too strict, however, the feelings that students have are the same in every school. It's like a freedom, love and so on. I like Mr.Keating very much. His teaching style is good for students. I felt studying is not only to sit at our desk. His free-teaching style can make students enjoy studying. "Seize the day" is a central theme in the film and is a very impressive phrase for me. The phrase gave a shock to me because I didn't handle my time with care so far. Their(the students's) experiences are no match for mine so my feeling might not be able to say "My feeling is the same as theirs." However, I thought I should make efforts more for what I want to do and become like them.

Summary: Seize the day!
Review: This is"Dead Poets Society".It took place on east@‚`merica in 1959.I think this story has a lot of relationships between the characters. And opinion gap between the boys and families leaves on impression on my mind.Because,a boy(Neil) has a dream in the future but his father is against it.And his father forces his opinions on his son(Neil).I think this is not a good thing, his father should have tried to understand his son's way of thinking and give help. I think this story is sometimes boring(for me),because it is a little difficult. But I recommend you because I was impressed by some scenes. I particulary liked the last scene because the students stand on the desk and they show that they respect their teacher.Though I couldn't understand all the words(because of English),I was very impresses by the last scene.

Summary: ¿¿I like Mr.Keating¿¿
Review: I think that this film is good practice for me especially listening.I like this movie because I want to learn Neil's way of life.At first,Neil always obeys his parents so he couldn't oppose until he has Mr.Keating's class.I remembered that the students rippd out text books.I think that Mr.Keating wanted to teach Neil's classmates how to learn real study. This means that the students learn to be freethinkers.I agree with Mr.Keating but I disagree with the headmaster of this school.Because the school lines are "Honour,Excellence,Tradition,Discipline."I think this is not always best for the education. Also I think this school is too strict and too strange.Do you? Then,Mr.Keating came to this school and Neil's classmates changed their minds about studying and school.

Summary: Carpe Diem!!
Review: The film, "Dead Poets Society" is about the relationship between Mr. Keating, the Latin teacher and his students in a preparatory school in America. Mr. Keating influences his students and they gradually become creative. Neil, the main student wants to be an actor. However, he can't say waht he really wants to do to his parents, and there is a tragedy in the end. I particularly liked the last scene when Mr. Keating is kicked out of school. All the students stand up on their desks to show their apologizes to Mr. Keating, because they can't save him. I leaned not to give up and try my best from Mr. Keating. I liked this film not only the story but also the setting. The school is located in the countryside in America. It is filled with nature. It is really beautiful when it snows. I recommend this film to people who have a dream to be a teacher and also who are interested in beautiful nature.

Review: America in 1959.It was still difficult age that young people didn't fair say their opinions. Dormitory called a famous university preparatory school located east-side of United States was a main scene. In this environment,John Keating,a new teacher, came to teach in this school.Firstly the students were confused by Keating's way of unusual teaching. But more and moreKeating who teach poetry passionately make him students fascinate. Before long, the students made a secret organization called "Dead Poets Society" which Keating was used to make when he was in this school. However, unbelievable tragedy happened to the boys who could gradually find what is themselves. The main theme I think is "freedom".This movie will show you how great the freedom is.

Summary: A story to think about
Review: I think this is a very good film because it's a story to think about. It's not like most of the others. After watching them you turn the TV off and forget about them. But "Dead Poets' Society" is different. You have to ask yourself if you seize the day and if you like the system you're in. And if you don't, then change something like Mr Keating does. But there are always people who don't like to change anything like the other teachers and the parents.

Summary: Dead Poets' Society
Review: The film "Dead Poets' Society" shows you a lot about boarding schools. It's about a teacher who wants to change school life. He teaches the students a way of free thinking and how they should "seize the day".

I think it's a wonderful film. It shows so many different characters of people. The actors play in a very realistic way. It shows you also how boarding schools were in the fifties.

The film was excellent and I recommend it to erveryone. WATCH IT!

Summary: Review of Dead Poets' Society
Review: The film "Dead Poets' Society" was very interesting for me. It showed a very conservative boarding school in the USA in the 50s. It was a very difficult life for the students. Today the students have more rights than in the past. The actors played the roles of Mr. Keating, Neal and his friends very well.

Summary: Were Shakespeare to weave Romeo & Juliet all male, tis here.
Review: An incredible cast... Robin Williams at his best, mixing comedy and serious drama.

Even if I didn't have children, I'd love this movie. With children, it's a great teaching story about what Benjamin Disreali said many years ago, "excess in moderation," basically, too much of anything isn't good...

Being too much of a rebel, or too much of a conformist... neither is good. Balance is the key. Independence from the established norm and leading ones own way in the world. Incredibly powerful presentation of those lessons.

Nothing bad to note on this one. Viewable with the whole family for most viewers. Definitely worth watching over and over.

Buy it.

Summary: A superb movie!
Review: What an excellent movie! The plot and acting were extremely well done. Robin Williams does a superb job as John Keating, a teacher at a strict, conservative prep school who teaches his students to think for themselves and to 'Carpe diem' - 'Sieze the day'. This movie also has an excellent message about the incredible damage that over controlling parents do to their children. This movie had me laughing and in tears. It really touched me. I highly reccomend this movie!
