Summary: This will keep the attention of anyone.
Review: You'll never see a film this close to what older teens are doing. It's shocking to think that someone got away with making this film, the graphic sexual situations and substance abuse is extremely focused on in this film. There isn't really a plot its more like one of those films that warn you about what you (or your friends) might be doing. There is a small story in this film though it goes like this. A girl named Jen is looking for the dude she lost her virginity to after she finds out she has HIV who she is looking for is Telly a self absorbed, sex obbessed teen who thinks he can get all the girls he wants. Thats it. Telly who is with his friend Casper walk around telling thier stories about sex and so on. When Jen finds Telly he is doing another girl she doesn't know it until she yells "it hurts Telly!", and she closes the door. Youll have to see this film to get to the ending. This film is worth your money. Alot of professional skateboarders are also in this film and the film Telly and his buddies are watching in the house is the legandary skateboarding video: Video days, and look for Leo Fitzpatrick in another skateboarding video by some of the jackass stars called: cky2k in which he and Bam Margera are on top of a van roof and the van backs into a snow bank where they both go flying. lol

Summary: The Truth About Kids Today
Review: KIDS is an extremely smart and daring film that tells the truth of the "Yorkville" kids in New York. When I first bought the film I didn't understand the film and didn't appreciate the acting or story line to it. But as I got older I knew that this was one of the best independent movies ever made. It is a great story about kids living in New York and showing there way of life through drugs, alcohol and sex. So watch the movie and see what Kids in America are really like.

Summary: Not A KIDS Movie
Review: Being a teen boy I wanted to see this movie for all the hot chicks. To my disappiontment there wasn't any. Just a bunch of guys having sex and walking around shirtless and showing us their rear ends. Justin Pierce "Casper", the blonde boy at the guys house that was shaking, and kid urinating near Casper are hot. We get to see all of them shirtless. If you get the Widescreen DVD on the far left you can see Justin's behind in a graphic rape/sex scene. RIP Justin I will miss you...you were so hot.

Review: I watched this movie when I was in high school. I hated every last minute of it, as did everyone I watched it with. The person who insisted we rent it apologized profusely. Spending two hours watching a movie about the type of person I was glad to see wind up in juvie was about as rewarding and worthwhile as shooting myself in the leg with a nail gun.

Summary: A movie or pure perfection
Review: Larry Clark's best film ever, without a doubt. He's done Bully and Another Day In Paradise and those are good but nothing compares to his KIDS. a Masterpiece of a movie, it's my favorite movie of all time. It just glues you to the tv set, watching it, waiting for whats next and whats to come, making you think, making you wonder. With a superb cast, including Leo Fitzpatrick( Telly ), Chloe Sevingy ( Jenny ) and a sensational performance by Justin Pierce ( Casper ). Pierce committed suicide in 2000 and he had a short career but he played in good movies. The film's vision of Kid's without parents is grand and the masterwork is shattering and compelling and shocking. I'd say rent it or buy it, very good

Summary: shocking?
Review: this movie did not shock me. it wasn't eye-opening. i know people like the kids in this movie. reguardless, i enjoy the bluntness of kids. i haven't seen a movie capture the trashiness of youth so well. any movie that makes me think afterwards deserves at least four stars. this almost seems like a documentary.

Summary: Not all it's cracked up to be.
Review: Although many would try to press upon you the idea that this is a revelation of a film, many films that even go as far as silent era have depicted children who delve into such darkness. Taxi Driver being the movie obvious.

Although the acting is very realistic for one dimentional characters, the story moves at a very slow pace. The movie is poorly written and there seems to be no real structure. Stuff just seems to happen, there's no real development or progression of a theme. It's just 91 minutes of doing random "shocking" activities. The violence is quite tame, and besides the fact that these characters are children, there's nothing very disturbing about their acts in that they have all been preformed hundreds of times on the screen. Robocop 2 had a much more interesting dynamic child character who was a major player in the underground world. If you had tagged on only a couple of years to the characters, this would be considered a waste of time. A good film shouldn't rely on a single detail to make a point.

If you're oblivious to the real world this film may come as a shock, but for most people it's pretty much common knowledge that under age kids will perform illegal acts. I found nothing shocking or surprising in the film. I think the only good feature of the film was that it didn't try to shove some message down your throat, but it was clearly trying to make a statement. I just think they weren't quite clever enough to interweave it with an interesting story.

Summary: life
Review: This is quite possibly the most disturbing movie I've ever seen. Not because of graphic scenes or violence, but because it hit SO close to home. This IS my life. While watching, I thought it was made within the last year or two rather than 1995. After watching, I began crying because this is what I experienced growing up. Everyone should watch it, but beware.

Summary: Perfect acting! but...
Review: This movie is very interesting because it shows the garbage of society and how the teenagers are thinking that doing bad things like using drugs, beatting people or making sex with virgin womens are the coolest things in this world.
Here are my opinions:

Good things:
1- A very WELL-MADE storyline.
2- Perfect acting (it deserve the Oscar)
3- Good cinematoghraphic for a "indi" film.
4- Cool music.

Bad things:
1- EXTREMLY disgusting conversations.
2- Little kids smoking grass.
3- It doens't have a clear message against the drugs like in Requiem for a Dream.
4- The movie says that using drugs is a very cool and funny thing to do, it also says that no matter the consencuenses of making sex without protection is still a cool thing because is the way to be more "MACHO".
5- Dissappointing and incomplete ending.

Note: Is worth to watch this film at least once, but if you think that being a junkie is good then just buy it! Adios.
