Review: Gina Gershon has never been hard to look at...and if you can stand Tilly's voice for two hours you may get through the movie unharmed, It is a great effort...but realistic? Well lets say fiction is alive and well...and when Gina Gershon is playing butch, well no leather jacket can hide that femme fatale...
The script is stilted, The actresses play it tongue in cheek..As Gershon did in Showgirls, but the rest of the cast thought they were in an epic...The film is worth a view, but bound to leave you empty

Review: Before the Wachowski brothers became cultural icons with their "Matrix" films, they directed this stylish film noir about two girls who fall in love and try to steal two million dollars from the Mob. Visually, the film is full of all sorts of cool camera tricks and visuals, which hint at the incredible affects they would later utilize in the Matrix trilogy. It should also be noted that the intruiging and effective mob plotline came before HBO's groundbreaking "Sopranos" series. So this movie was ahead of its time in many ways. But the best thing about this film has to be the chemistry between Corky (Gina Gershon), a tomboyish ex-con, and Violet (Jennifer Tilly), a mobster's closeted girlfriend. They generate more romantic and sexual heat than the vast majority of heterosexual Hollywood matches.

Summary: Very good movie!!
Review: Bound revolves around three key characters. The first is a gangster named Caesar ( Joe Pantoliano). The second is his mistress Violet (Jennifer Tilly). The third is a woman named Corky ( Gina Gershon) who was just released from prison and also moved into the same building as Caesar and Violet. Although Violet is involved with Caesar, she can't help developing a strong infatuation with Corky. The story takes an interesting turn when Corky and Violet become lovers. The two lovers then slowly develop a plan to steal 2 million dollars from the mob, and frame Caesar in the process. "Bound" is a great film. The overall suspense is nail-biting. Another thing I like about this movie, is the fact that it is laid out extremely well, and leaves no loose ends at all. You don't end up feeling confused, or wondering why the film happened the way that it did. Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly have great chemistry in this film and provide passionate love scenes and a partnership that is extremely solid. It really is fun to watch the two women work together in and out of the bedroom. Joe Pantoliano however gives the film's best performance. He plays the role of an angry mobster perfectly, as well as the confused mark who never knew what hit him. Watching him lose control is great. The DVD itself is excellent. Not only is it affordable, but it also includes the unrated version of the film and commentary from the directors, as well as Jennifer Tilly, Gina Gershon, and Joe Pantoliano. I highly recommend this movie!!

Review: Finally, a lesbian film with a great storyline! Suspenseful and sexy, the characters all play their roles beautifully. The lesbian scene at the end just adds to the enjoyment of this film! A total must-have DVD!

Summary: Beautiful, Brilliant & Butch
Review: I was beyond blown away by this stunning film. Gina Gershon who has rapidly become my favourite actress stars in this along with Jennifer Tilly (who I don't really care for, but plays her role quite well...)- its sexy, its suspensful and its smart. It avoids all of the hollywood cliches and consumes you with its creative and incredible plot twists. Corky (Gershon) is an ex-con who ends up working in a building that has mob-goings-on and meets Violet (Tilly) in the elevator one day while she's with her mob-boyfriend, Caeser (the guy from the sopranos) - there's instant attraction between the two females. The two inevitably submit to their desire and hook up - then conceiving a plan to rob the mob. It's really exciting and the girls have a really hot scene. (It's converted me, kind of - Gina Gershon herself has made me 20% Lesbian with this) Its really just a fabulous film - I HIGHLY recommend it. Its entertaining, appealing and aesthetically pleasing (gershon).

Summary: Film Noir at it's Best
Review: This movie blew my socks off. It is a stunning Film Noir in which a female ex-con and a mob whore fall in love and plot to steal 2 million bucks from the mob. The dialogue is intelligent and edgy, the sex is steamy, and unless you're a homophobe, the story has a heart. The actors realize their roles to perfection, and Jenifer Tilly's performance rated an Oscar in my opinion. As the mob whore, her seduction of Gina Gershon as Corky, the ex-con, took my breath away. You'll want to watch it over and over. Beg, borrow or steal this DVD, it's a must see.

Review: Gina Gershon is all butched out, however Meg Tilly really runs the show. The movie was great and exciting and the scenes between the two women were mesmerizing to say the least. The violence is a little more than I care for but other than a definite movie to rent or buy.

Review: I saw this in the theaters when it first came out in October 1996, and immediately became obsessed with it. Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon are not only beautiful, but they play their characters to perfection. Their sex scenes are incredible, by far the best I've seen on the silver screen. The movie itself is bloody and violent, which is to be expected in any movie about the Mafia. I highly recommend this movie.

Summary: A spicy film!
Review: I've seen this film a couple of times over the years and I don't really remember much of the plot, when I first think of it. It's a very sexy film in a nice mystical way and that's what strikes me every time it screens on TV.
There are so many films with quite a bit of sex in them, but this one really stands out, and no it doesn't stand out cause it's lesbian sex.
It's really well-made and I as a hetero sexual feel very relaxed and comfortably excited watching it. Why wouldn't I? Well, because a lot of the time homosexuality in particular and female sexuality in general (sometimes the sexuality of the male as well of course), screens as something unnatural and ugly. Sex is always twisted all sorts of ways in film, which sometimes can just get too much. Which I think this film handles really well - it has got quite a bit of naivety, whether it be false or not, in Jennifer's part and that combined with the rest of the film creates a thrilling result that manages to stay away from the traps of becoming just another crap film. If you think about it, the mob story on it's own isn't much to hang in a tree, but the girls really make this a spicy one! :-) I enjoy to watch it every once in a while, possibly because I don't really remember the story after a while, it feels knew every time I watch it!
