Summary: One of the best of the nineties!
Review: This is not just yet another mobster movie; it certainly is one of the best of the genre. I haven't read the book but I found this movie so real and intense. I'm not going to write anything about Pacino, cause we're all used to his magnificient performances every time he appears in the screne; it's certainly Depp who gives the best performance here, but I'd not like to forget Madsen who is simply fascinating (can a mobster be?). I've seen this movie so many times and still enjoy it.

Summary: The greatest movie of all time!
Review: I'm still not quite sure why I chose this above Goodfellas but the more I watch it the clearer it becomes. Al Pacino is as always brillant but what shocked me is just how convincing a display Jonny Depp puts on. It is simply the best gangster film around. Jonny Depp plays an undercover cop who once entering the mob finds its life style too much to leave. This is a must for all gangster lovers out there!

Summary: Great movie, but DVD light on the extras
Review: This is a very good movie with great performances by Pacino, Depp and Madsen. The DVD has solid sound and picture, but doesn't have any extras. A "Making Of" the film or commentary track would have been nice and provided more info about the real life events in the movie. A must rental.

Summary: Donnie Brasco
Review: I always catch alot of grief for this, but I gotta say this is one of the greatest mobster movies of all time. This movie grips you right from the get go. The story line is awesome. And Depp and Pacino together are priceless. If you don't like this movie... "Forget about it".

Summary: One of the most underrated movies ever made
Review: Simply superb. The film follows the rise of an undercover cop in the mafia, played precisely by Johnny Depp. This, in my opinion, is the best role he has played to date, and considering his role as Ed Wood, that is something. Al Pacino is yet again fantastic as Depp's mentor. The support cast includes the extra cool Micheal Madsen. This film is a must buy for people who like gangster films and to see what Depp and Pacino can really do. Superb.

Summary: One of the best
Review: Based on the true story this movie wasn't to accurate It doesn't follow the book but it has a lot of history about the mafia behind it Definetly one of the best

Summary: Donnie don't go
Review: I couldn't get enough of this movie. I found out, through my "Outfitt" investagating or mafia as the media called them, that this wasn't the whole story. The movie gives the impression the lefty gets killed that day but that couldn't be further from the true. He was picked up right outside his apartment and taken to jail where he would wait for his friend F.B.I. agent to testify against him. He was found guilty and evenly died in a prison hospital of cancer years later. Sonny Black(Michael Madson) was found a year after the arrest dead with his hands cut off as a sign of disrespect in La Cosa Nostra. Would I put this in my collection Absolutly "YES"

Summary: Truly A Great Movie!
Review: This movie is such that it may be watched over and over and over again. This is one of the main reasons for buying instead of renting and this one is a gem!
