Summary: Better than the first!!!
Review: First of all yes it's not exactly the same as the book but what book to movie ever really is (although one part rubs me wrong but watch it enough times and you get used to it). But Really if the rest of the moives in the series get progressively better and better like this one did Kirk and the bunch won't be Left Behind at Oscar time! And who needs a bunch of zeros on the budget for a movie when you have names like that on a cast!?!?

Summary: Tribulation Force does not disapoint
Review: After watching my preview copy all i could simply say was, WOW. Good job! While there are some minor things that i would change (The font on the opening titles) and adding a WS verion for the DVD, the film does not disapoint in terms or special effects, sets, and acting. GOOD JOB CLOUD TEN

Summary: Best Fiction Movie of the Year
Review: If you followed the popular book series or not, you will glued to the screen watching this movie. I got it earlier (and cheaper) than most people because the store placed it out before the deadline, tomorrow. You must watch it and then compare the quality of special effect, amazing plot, and superb cast to say the least. Buy this one, it's worth every penny and more!...

Summary: I wish I could give it 10 stars, but five is good enough!
Review: I have been a fan of Left Behind since 2000 and I was so ecstatic when LB1 came out but I viewed it and I was slightly disappointed. But when I heard that LB2 was coming out in October 02 I WAS SO HAPPY! I rented the movie and I loved it. All 95 minutes of it! no complaints. Watch this movie only if you have seen the first!

Summary: Take it or leave it
Review: I have read some of the reviews of this movie and find them interesting to say the least. You have to realize that these movies will never live up to the Star Wars and Spider-man movies because they are about a christian subject and few want to deal with the criticism that is attached to being a christian movie in todays movie market. And yes, they probably do come across as being low budget but that doesn't necessarily make them bad movies just not as visually graphic as high budget ones. As with most books which are turned into movies, perhaps you will have difficulty with what is portrayed verses how you may have pictured it in your head. I have enjoyed reading the books, some I have found a little slow but others have been captivating from the first page. But folks, lets be realistic, this movie, as with the first, is based on fictional books. Accounts of what the authors picture the endtimes being like. There are many other books and movies out there which are about the very same subject. And sooner or later they all receive more than their fair share of criticism. ... I have heard of many people, who are not christians, who have read the books, been intrigued and come to know Christ because of them, because they opened a dialoge for conversation where someone took the opportunity to explain further. As more of these movies are made, they will serve the same purpose. As a Christian, I frankly am tired of the sex and foul language in adult movies and the sexual inuendos that have become the norm in so-called childrens movies. It is refreshing to find an adult movie that doesn't rely on those things to tell a story as bad as you might think the movie is, the producers are at least willing to take a stand and not do so. Take it or leave it. As entertainment for THIS christian and others I know, I will take it.

Summary: Awesome Movie
Review: I have to tell you I was thrilled when I saw this movie. It has by far the clearest message ever in a movie. The story was compelling and the acting was supurb. I found it to be so much more interesting then the book was. And the best part is the book was split in two allowing for a second movie to take place. It left me wanting more and more.

Gordon Currie rocked as the antichrist bringing his character to a new level. Clarence Gilyard stepped it up to probably his best performance in any movie. Way to go to the makers of this film it was such a huge improvment over the original movie in the series.

Summary: LBTF better than the original
Review: For those who have seen the first movie, this is way better. Do not expect the book, but where LB left off this picks up and sails forward. The DVD is awsome and includes alot of cool extra's. I got my copy early and before the release have already watched it 5 times. There is so much in it that you will find many things missed the first time.
It has enough Gospel Message without being "pushy" so those that may be turned off by a preaching movie will still enjoy it. I cna hardly wait for the next movie.

Summary: If it's anything like the first one....
Review: My advice is that you save your money. Given the popularity of the book series, they could have put more time, effort, and perhaps money into the movie. The first movie was just lame. Don't expect much from this one either.

Summary: Good, but the book is a lot better.
Review: This like the first film is loosely based on the best-selling book series. But this movie is much more loosely based on the book. Too much in my opinion. I am not certain why there are so many differences between the book and the movie. Obviously the would have to be much longer to include all of the scenes. But some of the differences between the book and the movie are too egregious and present a real dificulty for some people.

I also think some fans of the book series may be disappointed over the differences. The differences I had the most trouble with are with the Wailing Wall scenes. In the book, there are many people there. In the movie the UN made it off-limits and would shoot anybody who approached. The other is about Ben-Judah. I feel if I went into details on this one it may constitute a spoiler.

The opening sequences features posters on buildings and bulletin boards with pictures of people who were raptured. It immediately reminded me of the many pictures placed around New York after the attack on the World Trade Center. I think the inclusion of this scene in the film may create some controversey.

This is still a good film and gives a strong Christian message. Some scenes were very moving for me. The choir at the end is probably the best scene in the entire film. It almost bought me to tears.

I had some mixed feelings over the fact that the DVD includes a blooper reel. A serious subject like this isn't a laughing matter.

The acting is pretty good and includes Kirk Cameron, of the TV series "Growing Pains" Clarence Gilyard Jr. of "Walker, Texas Ranger" Godron Currie of "Alive" and many others.

I hope that when the next film is made that they will make it more like the books. It will be easier if their budget is higher. I plan to help.
