Summary: We've adopted Damien!
Review: After brutally murdering his family, little tyke is transported to a new home and settles his murdering appetite when he thinks he actually likes his new family. But before long, his heart is broken and he kills his new family. He is then back in adoption and the process repeats itself YET AGAIN! Sick and gory thriller wins big points for style and execution but you either like it or you don't. And if you like this, you'll like anything.

Summary: It's pure madness with no concept.
Review: i should say that this movie is just DULL. The characters who tried to stop Mikey from his killing frenzy are absolutely dumb. The kid just wins all the way to the end of the movie, which makes it dull.

Summary: Try disoplining this brat and end up in electrified water
Review: Just watched this film today, it is one of the most spookiest films. The acting is very good, especialy from the young boy, this film is actualy banned in the uk. Aparently the reason being in my opinion is that it's submision conincided with a case here where two Ten year old boys murdered and turtured a two year old boy in Merseyside. Watch out for Mikey2

Summary: Almost EXACTLY like "The Good Son"-- Highly Reccomended!
Review: One of my all time favorite movies is "The Good Son" with a terrific performance by Macaulay Culkin. I saw this movie just right after "The Good Son" was released in theatres in September 1993, and I thought it was as good. Never did I appreciate the young actors of the 80's, because they were so pathetic (Gary Coleman, Ricky Schroeder, Danny Pintauro). The 90's changed it completely, and gave Hollywood young actors who deserve their high salary. Honestly, did Gary Coleman deserve $70,000 for his performance on each episode of the idiotic and now infamous "Different Strokes"? When Culkin came along, everything improved. And Bonsall has Culkins' potential, and shows it as he gives a very impressive performance as Mikey, a kid who everyone thinks is great, but is really psychotic. In this movie, just like Elijah Wood in "The Good Son" (who gave as great a performance as Culkin did), one person knows what Mikey really is, but when she tries to warn the others, no one will believe her. Bonsall is great, and it is quite a step from playing toddler Andrew Keaton in "Family Ties". Bonsall has not been in a movie for five years, and should get back soon. Hollywood is waiting for Bonsall's talent for more roles. Although I do not like movies that are cheap immitations of theatrical releases like they did with "Fatal Attraction" (Body Chemistry), "Gremlins" (Critters) and others, this Good Son immitation is very impressive. If you liked "The Good Son", you will definately like "Mikey". In 1994 actully, one friday HBO had a double feature-- they showed purposely "Mikey" and "The Good Son" back to back. See them both-- very well acted. Mac and Brian-- come back to Hollywood-- we miss you..

Summary: A 9-Year-Old Psychopath!
Review: Suspenseful and frightening. Mikey provides what a movie of this genre is expected to. An absolute 'must see' for Brian Bonsall fans. The scary nature of this particular character he portrays, does not diminish Brian Bonsall's overwhelming cuteness in the slightest. He is truly one of the most adorable 'young boy' actors of all time. I also recommend the following Brian Bonsall movies and hope that they are all available on DVD soon: 'Desperate Motive', 'Blank Check', 'Father And Scout', 'Fatherhood' and 'Lily In Winter'.

Summary: Mikey DVD
Review: This is one of my favorite B-horror movies, and i couldn't give you a reason why really. There's just something about it that i've always liked. I've had this DVD edition for about a year now and have watched it several times. The picture and audio quality are very good. There aren't many extra features besides some cast bios and the theatrical trailer, but who cares the movie is great! Oh, and this has Ashley Lawrence from Hellraiser in it...yummy!
