Summary: This movie is the best movie ever!
Review: I have seen this movie about 100 times, and I know it backwards and forwards. This is a movie about 4 teenage girls who, when they are 12, make a promise that they will be there for eachother when they are older if any of them need it. Well, that day has come, and they all meet again, after 10 years of not seeing eachother. This movie was excellently written, and the actors and actresses acted SO well! I think that you should see this movie as soon as you can!

Summary: Funloving and Enjoyable
Review: i enjoyed this movie. I love to see kids interact, and it was set in a timeline and town similiar to my own, i was however a Wormer. I want to buy this movie, but i will wait untill it is on DVD, so i can share it with my future children, to show them the way things were. Friends and memories are important in this movie, and that is an important value.

Review: This was a great film that I think I can keep in my mind forever.I love watching it beacause so many people I know had a life just like in the movie and it's great how friends can stand by each other forever untill the end of time.Thats how it should be-never forget your friends even when you've grown up to be a famous movie star,or a singer.

Review: Since I've never seen Stand By Me, I can't tell you if this movie was a rip-off of it or not. I can tell you what I thought of it. It was okay. The young actresses were all pretty good. The adult actresses are merely there to lend their names, to show us what happened to the girls, and balance the "then" sequences with "now" sequences, so they can't really be expected to give excellent performances. Yes, this movie was filled with cliches, which got annoying after a while, but there were some good scenes, like the scene with Crazy Pete in the graveyard and the scene where Christina Ricci's character cried about her mother dying. All in all, this movie is really what they call a "chick flick", and it isn't one of the better ones, but it has its moments.

Summary: "Now and Then": An OK Film
Review: "Now and Then" is not the greatest film, but neither is it the poorest.Its strengths lie in in the four teenage actresses and not in the adults (O'Donnell, et al, whom I found to be unbelievable). The film does have several excellent moments -- the skinny-dipping scene being one of them -- and portrays, I believe, the oncoming 70s very well. (Take a look at Bud, the 40+ swinger dressed in ashcroft and pre-leisure suit: Look at me/I'm a disco duck...The guy literally reeks of cheap aftershave and cigarette smoke from a Las Vegas-like lounge...) Brendan Frazier makes a good appearance as a disillusioned Vietnam Vet. All in all, it would be worth your money to purchase this video (and your time to watch it).

Review: I thought that all actresses were wonderful. It'a a heart-to-heart movie, and because i had friends like that it was really touching. If you were in the same situation as those girls you would understand

Review: What I wouldn't have given to have had friends like this. I remember when it was safe to bike off to another town and all you wanted to talk about was boys and skinny dipping was the ultimate--my favorite scene is when they steal the Wormer brothers clothes. That littlest Wormer is the cutest. A must see for girls.
