Summary: Perfection
Review: Now and Then is the perfect girl movie if you have all of your best girlfriends over at your house and you want to have a great time just pop in Now and Then and everyone there will be so happy for the entire night because this is story of everything you have dreamed of from what life will be like once you and your friends have all moved out and gotten jobs than all the fun adventures you have as children from riding your bikes to the next town to thinking that you have made a ghost rise from the dead it is a fun touching coming of age story that speaks to the young and old and forces you to call all of your old friends and see what they are up to and remind them of all the things that you did as children. I would recommend this movie to everyone mainly females though because they can relate to more. I hope that everyone enjoys this movie as much as I did!

Summary: Surprisingly realistic!
Review: Many movies about 12 year olds aren't as realistic to life nowadays, as this one is. I'm 11 and girls my age really do talk like this, maybe not to the extent, but I'm glad that they don't act like 12 year olds are babies, unlike many other films. The acting was also superb and it's great to see Christina Ricci when she was younger. Great movie!

Summary: Now and Then
Review: Now and Then is a GREAT MOVIE! I first saw it at my sisters birthday party when one of her friends brought it. I own it know. You can watch this movie over and over and never get bored of it because you notice stuff you didn't see before and it seems to never get boring. It is also a very good family movie because it shows great friendship, losses, and mystery all in one and ity is also good because it is set in the olden times. So it is a good expirence for them to get to see what it was like without TV and Nentendo.

Summary: Good But Not Great
Review: Okay this was a good movie and had a great cast, Demi Moore, Rita Wilson, Melanie Griffith, Rosie O'Donnell, Bonnie Hunt, Christina Ricci, Gabby Hoffman and Thora Birch but even though I think it was a good movie it wasn't absolutely great and I enjoyed the scenes better with the younger girls more then the scenes with the characters all grown up.

A good movie but not something I want to own.

Summary: Forget the adults
Review: Yeah, so what if Demi Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, Rita Wilson, and Melanie Griffith didn't put out stellar performances. They're in the movie for a total of maybe 15-20 minutes. Instead, focus on the brilliant performances of Gaby Hoffmann, Thora Birch, Ashleigh Aston Moore, and, in particular, Christina Ricci. This movie is about four girls and a summer that changed them, but still kept tight the bond that they had, resulting in them coming back after all those years to aide their friend at a turning point in her life. So what if it's a "rip-off" of "Stand By Me". I say, get over it, and enjoy this great movie for females (and males) of all ages.

Summary: Just buy this DVD!
Review: Better than "Stand By Me", this coming of age movie from the feminine side is so perfectly cast that there is never a moment of boredom and you really do care for all of the characters. This is one super movie, it immediately made my top 10 list so I cannot recommend it enough. The chemistry between the young girl super-cast is a delight. Don't think about renting this movie--purchase it and save the rental fee. All movies should be this good!

Summary: This Movie is sooooooo GREAT!!
Review: The story it's mostly about the loyal friends and how hard is sometimes to go to the past and front old problems that you thought to left behind....but you didn't.
The Movie starts with message from Chrissy to Samantha saying that she's going to have a baby and reminding Sam that they promissed to be together no matter what.
Sam goes to the Gaslight Addition, the town where she used to live.......with her friends
She goes to Chrissy's house and she find there to Roberta(who's now a doctor and an outstanding basketball player), a few minutes later, Teeny arrives in her limo (because she's now an actress).
After they talk a bit, Samantha starts to remember the summer of 1970, when they were all 12 years old, and all the things they did and sayed...she remembers things like Roberta'sjokes about the dead, about Chrissy's innocence fronting the sex, about Teeny's dreams about being a star(thing that she finally made real!)and her (Sam's) depression about her prarents divorce.
It's a very cool movie for girls around 13 years old, and it made me cry!! :'( (of course, not in a bad sense, like why the hell i spend my money in this movie?)

I recommend this movie and the movie STRIKE! with Kirsten Dunst (Sapiderman, the Virgin Suicides), Gabby Hoffman (yes, she's also in this movie, but a little groun up) Monika Keena, Vincent Kartheiser (i love this boy, he also appears in Angel, as Angel's son Connor) and Danny Smith (he appeard in Big Wolf on Campus, as Merton)

Summary: Sugar, Sugar
Review: Now and Then is a wonderful coming of age movie. You see young girls growing into mature women with diverse interests. It is cool how most of the younger girls in the movie turned out to be well known actresses. The songs in the movie are great!

Summary: Now and Then
Review: A most delightful feel-good comedy about four girls and a summer they'd never forget. Very funny and high-spirited comedy with some sad bits and scary bits. My cousin introduced me to this film and I am quite pleased with it. "Now and Then" is an instant classic from start to finish!
