Review: This is a great movie for those who believe in fate and finding one's true love. It has comedy, tragedy, drama, and love all wrapped up in one movie. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are great actresses and play their parts well. The soundtrack for Practical Magic is also excellent and goes perfect with the movie. The plot of the story is based on finding true happiness, yes even for a witch. This is more of a girly movie and not meant for guys, unless you're watching it with YOUR soul-mate!

Review: Besides Ever After, this was the best movie in the world! It really makes you believe and witches, spells and curses. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman once again perform billiantly. It will always be a good movie to watch on a rainy day. Your children will love it. Immediately go out and buy a copy for christmas, birthday's, etc. The movie is brillantly mixed with comedy, drama, a love story, and a heroin story. It truly is believable!

Review: My wife made me watch this. The story of witches curses had an appeal, and if it was like SALEM'S LOT, penned by Stephen King and not Alice Hoffman(how does junk like this get into print is one question!), it might have been OK. But it was overblown cheap sentimentality so much it depressed me. Call this comedy? I call it a worthless piece of cinematic rubbish that's not worth ten minutes of anyone's time. And a waste of Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. As if losing a husband is called comedy and having to suffer just like Sandra Bullock's character is entertaining. If she had grabbed a gun and killed a few witch-haters this would have been far more entertaining than impractical magic. PUKE!

Review: I can not get enough of this movie! It is sooo... great! It's perfect if you are wanting to feel all lovey dovey about guys, or if you're in a great male bashing mood! It captures all your emotions!

Review: I defy anyone to explain the story of this movie without stammering and possibly giggling. This movie is boring. It has no energy. Even really bad movies have energy, but this one's just a rock. They managed to make a boring story out of supernatural people. Congratulations. Also, they managed to make us feel comfortable with Sandra killing a guy. And then we see her SOOOOO upset about her upbringing that it causes her to... open a store! And what's with that "he'll have these color eyes," thing, and then the guy doesn't have the right color! Nice touch.

Review: Although this movie may not have been a box office smash or won any awards, it's a movie that I truly enjoy watching. It's not about witches (true, the main characters are witches) but about finding true love, family ties, and the cruelty of prejudice and being an outcast to society. Something about this movie gives me hope that I could be strong enough to overcome prejudice and that my idea of the perfect man could come walking into my life, just like Sally's did.

Review: I got tired of waiting for this movie to run on HBO so I bought a copy. It's the sort of film that expands with each viewing. You'll see things you swore weren't there before. This is the power of PRACTICAL MAGIC. It keeps opening up, showing you poignant flashes. The compelling views of the water, the Victorian house with its witchy little greenhouse off the kitchen. The details are to be savored. The CD is fabulous too!

Review: At first I thought it was just going to be a weird movie. It is alittle weird, but I was surprised to find myself really enjoying it. This is a feel-good movie with a feel-good ending. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are excellent as the two "witchie" sisters. I loved the house too. What a great "bed and breakfast" that house would make.
