Summary: An excellent film
Review: You can toss Leonard Malton's review out the window. Did he even watch this film, I wonder? This is one of the most excellent tragic love stories I have ever seen on film. It's story is simple and subtle, but the performances by Redford and Wood are superb. Redford's reserve and steadiness are so nicely contrasted by Natalie's fanciful, yet sadly tortured youth, in a very straightforward but compelling story.
