Summary: Over, and over, and over...
Review: There is no limit to the number of times that this film can be watched. It will always be viewed as one the best movies ever made. To the reviewer from San Diego who gave it three stars because it was only a "good film", you're wrong, this is a great film.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Only Gets Better with Repeated Viewings
Review: This film deserves all of the accolades heaped upon it. Quick-paced, full of unexpected plot twists, visually very rich and varied, and peppered with humor in a very-underplayed & successful manner.

Enjoy it for the intrigue, enjoy it as a WWII memoir, enjoy it for the humor, enjoy it for the superb acting, enjoy it for the music, and enjoy it for the love story. This is a film which somehow magically grows in its appeal as the viewer grows in life's experiences. If you've never had the love affair of your life fall through your fingers, then by all means, go do so. Then, when you re-visit Casablanca afterwards, you'll find it speaks truthfully and poignantly to the pains you might have from love affairs that ended too soon.

The themes are wonderfully resonant with the viewer...redemption from past mistakes, knowing when to act and when to keep your peace, and the sacrifice of the opportunity of a lifetime (the chance to resurrect the love of your life) for a greater good -- joining the fight against oppression-- ...damn, what an unparalled film!

Not only is this a must-see...it's a must-own! Or, so it seems to me...

Summary: This is one of the best movies ever made!
Review: I've heard of this movie before, but I never watched it because it was old and didn't have color, but since I had to do a project for history, I thought I could give this movie a try. Turned out I really enjoyed it. Hey, I'm not a real fan of love stories, but this one was more than that, and I liked how it incoporated the series of events that was going on at that period of time.

Summary: No other film has as many Great Lines
Review: Last scene in film has as many great lines as all of the films released in 1998 combined.

Summary: Casablanca's like an old friend
Review: Watching Casablanca is like greeting an old friend. Sure, one has probably seen it many times and, definitely, one probably knows the dialogue by heart, but there is something that keeps you coming back. Bogart is in top form and the pairing with Ingrid Bergman is first rate. One has to wonder if the world would have been a different place if Warner Bros. first choice for the role, Ronald Reagan, had played Rick. Would Casablanca be the classic it is today? Would Reagan have gone into politics? These are questions that don't, and won't have answers. The story is one that holds the attention and the supporting cast is one of the best, from Peter Lorre's courier to Conrad Veidt as the German major and, in a class by himself, Claude Rains as the politically astute Police Prefect. All in all, Casablanca is a wonderful viewing experience for our time and for all time.

Summary: Perfection
Review: This is one movie that certainly deserves every single word of praise it has recieved. Humphrey Bogart does a wonderful job of playing the obviously bothered man, Rick, and Ingrid Bergman lights of the screen with her radiant beauty and superb knack for acting, and then Paul Henreid, Claude Raines, and Dooley Wilson make this movie on you will remember. A true classic.

Summary: boring, bad plot
Review: I thought the movie was going to be a lot better than it was. They could habve done so much more with the movie other than making it a boring, totally wrong love movie.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Greatest Film of all time!
Review: A GREAT STORY, the BEST CAST, a GREAT MELODY, the BEST LEADING ROLES, etc. What was plan to be just another blockbuster turnned into a COLLECTOR,s FANTASY. A timeless film that is and will be remembered for the rest of time to come.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: As great as it could be.
Review: This is a CLASSIC everyone should have at home, it is as great as any movie will ever be.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not Only A Tear-Jerker But A Truly Good (Truly Cool) Film.
Review: Much of the press and notice surrounding "Casablanca" has centered around the romance. They forget the great dialogue, the great performances (especially in the supporting roles) and the strong direction by neglected filmmaker, Michael Curtiz ("Angles With Dirty Faces," "Yankee Doodle Dandy"). The film is everything you've already heard but it is more, so much more. One of the true classics of World Cinema.
