Review: It's disturbing that what one used to could only find on late night AM radio one can go watch as a movie in a mall theater. We should fear, like Nazi Germany, any ecumenical movements oe any political movements striving for peace. What next, a movie outlining the Protocol Elders of Zion? Anyway, for those really interested in the Rapture (a term which you will not find in the Bible), read some history: the doctrine of the Rapture was created by the Englishman John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), who spread it around Americ in the mid 19th century. Before Darby, no Rapture doctrine. And, like all propoganda movies (of any stripe or color), the script, acting, even special FX, are bad...

Summary: It's good...for a Christian movie.
Review: That seems to sum up my feelings regarding the movie, Left Behind. I hate to be negative... because I believe we should support the efforts to produce quality Christian videos by buying them. And we will do that. But we can't quite compare it to secular or hollywood videos. We have to compare it to other Christian videos. In that light, it may be the best Christian video out there in terms of story, acting, editing, being "believeable" and one you might take an unbeliever to.

Summary: Left Behind: The Movie
Review: I was sooo looking forward to this, but when it came out, I was very disapointed. The books are really exciting and I didn't find that same quality with the movie. I had pictured the characters quite differently than in the movie and I didn't like the changes they made to the storyline. I think if you never read the series, it might be good, but once you've read the books, it's like someone has changed the members of your family! I have all of the audio tapes in the drama series and they are totally awesome! I guess I'll keep listening to them and skip the videos.

Summary: Good movie but the book was better
Review: This movie based on the best selling book of the same name, which in turn is based on the book of Revelation from the Holy Bible, chronicles the last days of the Earth as we know it. It begins with an all out assault on Israel and the subsequent destruction of the attackers by God himself with no Israeli casulties. Later the Rapture occurrs. All at the same time around the world, millions of people vanish into thin air, leaving behind their clothes, watched, jewelery, pacemakers, and anything that was on or in them. The people left behind wonder what is going on. Some discover the truth. God took them from Earth to spare them from what would happen next... The rise of the Antichrist and the seven worst years the people of the Earth will ever experience. Some turn to God for help. Those who would accept the Lord Jesus Christ into their hearts and are assured salvation. This movie is an excellent preview of things to come and was produced and is one of the largest budgets ever obtained for a Christian film. This movie is one that no true Christian would want to miss, and that belivers and nonbelivers alike shouldn't miss! Though I must say that the book if far superior to the movie.

Summary: Bibically Unsound
Review: This movie expresses a doctrine that has been pervading our society for a long time. The doctrine of "The Rapture" is not biblical. The view is derived from a few passages of scripture in Matthew which indicate people being left behind. These passages are not taken in the context of the WHOLE, thus creating confussion. Aside from the biblical inperfections, the movie is just not good. It lacks the attention grabing story line that makes a good movie.

Review: Left Behind i think is in awesome movie with an awesome Message, I know some people say leave this movie behind but don't leave this movie behind at least give this a rentle cause the biggist thing about this movie is it's awesome message it gives out not how much spachel effcts it has, The only thing that stinks about the movie is it didint finish the story it only finished the frist book which is just the begging of the story but the main thing about the movie is the Great Message! it has and this movie is based on revelations in the bible so it's not fiction the people are but not the story of what is going to happen i really think this movie is great for people who are wondering what would it be like if i did put my faith in god and if i didint put my faith in god and for the people who don't believe watch this movie and it may be the seed you need to bring you in the right path with this strong message this movie has, I never read the book yet but even if the movie was a little of from the book it doesint make any diffrents what matters is the message it gives and if this movie helps people to come to know christ then this movie is a 5 star pluse=)I think Left Behind will touch alot of people i recomend this movie to everyone, Remaber that there is only one way to haven and that is believing in jesus christ in your heart (Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6)Except Jesus Christ as lord and savure and he will forgive you for your sins, I hope this review was helpful and i hope you enjoy the movie as much as i did God Bless everyone.
