The unit stopped working within 6 months and the manufacture has the audacity to request that I purchase a replacement unit that has the same defects for an additional $99.99. Summary: Fuzzy tuner and VCR Eats Tapes
Review: I am surprised to read all of these bad reviews. I got this item for Christmas and tonight it started eating the VCR tapes. I had also been noticing that the tuner wasn't quite right. Whether I was watching television, video, or DVD there was a slight interference with the picture quality that made it difficult on my eyes. I am going to try to take it back to TARGET and get another brand. I'm willing to pay more for higher quality. If all these reviews are really talking about the same product then it is shocking that any company would make it.

Review: I bought this machine and the DVD stopped working just in time to return to Target..I exchanged it for the same one and now that DVD has stopped working as well!!! I have gone through 2 players in one year and I am furious!! The manufacturer will not do anything about it. Target better stop selling this horrible product.

Review: I saw other reviews on different sites the day after I bought this player. I was going to take it back right away after all the bad reviews, but thought I would give it a chance! Big mistake!!! After one month, the dvd player gave out a crackling noise through the speakers.... very annoying! I will be returning this week.

Review: This is a very bad DVD Combo unit. All you hear are clicks and the remote doesn't work consistently. Avoid hours of frustration and get something else.<br /> <br /> I read a lot of bad reviews and bought it anyway; (What an idiot I am) because of the Magnavox name. BIG MISTAKE.
