Summary: If you need a portable image device, this is it!!
Review: I have to show to my clients the designs of their future homes, in other words their virtual homes and it was kind of complicated for me sometimes, because most of them did not have a dvd player in their office or even at home. Now with this amazing device, I will be able to show the projects and go anywhere I want, even I can go to the future working site and show them how the future home it is going to be built. This is amazing!!!! And the price..... wow..... what a bargain!!!!

Summary: Not very robust
Review: I purchased this DVD player at Walmart... Almost immediately it began to fail. The DVD would play, but the backlight on the TFT display would fail to illuminate the screen. If you would tap the display it would come back, but only for a few minutes. I do not recommend this product dispite the price. You will only need to immediately return it or purchase another one

Summary: Don't waste your time
Review: I say "Don't waste your time" because that is all this DVD player has become for me, a waste of time. I ... was very pleased with it at first. For the price, it was a beautiful little player. I didn't like how the battery pack is external, and the picture that (This site) uses does not show it. The size of the battery pack is about the same size as a normal sized stapler, and is very ugly. But aside from that it was a great player for the price. I bought it mainly to use on the bus and subway, and listen to music on it if I wasn't interested or didn't have time to watch a movie. But when I would close the unit's screen to preserve the battery life and reduce its size, I would get a loud buzzing sound (as if the lens was stuck) and the music would stop playing. This would only happen when I closed the DVD player. I have been trying to figure out what it was by tricking it into thinking it was closed, and it wouldn't do it. only if the unit is closed. (Holding down the button and pressing a CD case against it, still didn't think it was closed). I thought this was just a faulty unit ... so i returned it and got another. Same problem. ... Good DVD players are too expensive for now...If you chose to only use it as a portable DVD player, and not a CD/MP3/Home Dvd player, its fine. It would even stop responding when hooking it up to my TV for RCA playback. Had to keep it open in order to watch movies. ...

Review: I was not looking for a portable player, but bought this one because it's the only one I could find that sells in the USA that plays all the formats and has all the features that I need. Formats supported include: DVD-Video, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD-Audio, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD/DVD (up to 320kbps 44/48khz), VCD, XVCD, SVCD, XSVCD, Kodak Photo CD, JPEG, and raw MPEG1/2 files of any bit rate and frame size. JPEGs can be viewed one at a time, in slideshow view, and thumbnail view. Has a very easy to use file navigator. It scans everything on CD-R/RW disks before it lets you play files, so the more stuff that's on them the longer it takes for it to load. Has shuffle and random play modes and all kinds of repeat modes. Supports fast forward/reverse speeds up to 16x on DVD-Video, 16x for Audio CDs and MP3s, and 2x for raw MPEGs. MP3-PRO is also supported. You can also make your own playlists. The 4 inch screen isn't very sharp, but it gets the job done. I don't mind it since I bought it primarily to watch on TV anyway. The manual isn't very detailed, but the player is very easy to figure out by yourself. The player is even smaller that what it seems like from the pictures, but it gets about half an inch bigger when you attach the battery. Overall I give it a 9/10. ...

Summary: I really like it!
Review: I've had an excellent experience so far with this portable DVD player. I bought it to occupy my son on long car rides during summer vacation, and it has worked like a charm! The picture looks good, and the sound is very good with headphones, passable without. Sure, the battery isn't the most attractive, but that's not a problem for me.
The only drawback is the screen size. It is very small, which makes it difficult to read text on the screen (like when you are looking at the menu, etc.) But, oh well. I certainly can live with it.

The only drawback is the screen size. It is very small, which makes it difficult to read text on the screen (like when you are looking at the menu, etc.) But, oh well. I certainly can live with it.

Review: The size is right for this DVD however the screen quality is much to be desired. However it plays ok when connecting it to a regular tv. So if you want something small to port around it is ok. Better off putting your money towards a PC with a dvd drive in it. To me its not worth [money amount]dollars as the screen is too small and the quality of the screen isn't that great

Summary: Don't put your money in the trash can
Review: This initial brand is one of the worst "new" brands outside. I made the wrong choice by purchasing this portable dvd based on the price and what I did was to throw away my money because It didn't last more than 7 months. The battery died forever and the audio was not according with the picture. After 6 months its warranty covers only parts and of course you'll have to pay for the labor, which in most cases it's even more than what you paid for the whole thing, keep adding because this people won't even pay for the shipping to send them the product. Hope you don't fall in this kind of "business". Just keep browsing.

Summary: Excellent and versatil
Review: This portable DVD is great it not only comes with everything you need (AC Adapter, Car Adapter, Battery), but has a great support of formats and content in both DVD and CD. First of all it plays all brands of DVD (DVD-R, DVD+R and their +-RW flawors) and CD (CD-R, CD-RW, CD pressed). It can read mp3 saved in CD or DVD (Meaning a whopping 84 hours per disc), it supports a path with more than two levels, reads mpg1 and mpg2 files saved on both types of discs (DVD or CD), supports JPG files (It even have a thumbnail menu), and above all this examples it supports VCD and SVCD (Even multiple audio!!!), so this unit rocks. I have seen other players with better or bigger screen, but if you ask me, i prefer this because it can even play a guitar (well , no a guitar, but with all it plays the guitar is the only missing), hey, it play even things that my set top doesn't... So if you find it buy it !.
