Summary: Very reliable DVD player.
Review: This DVD player is very reliable, and very easy to use. It is perfect for me, and I love it. The audio and graphics are perfect for what I need. It's a very good choice for the money. The one thing that I would've liked that it doesn't have would be arrows on the front so that I didn't have to have the remote (which I always lose) to easily start a movie without having to go to the menu, then stop, then play, and so I could also navigate the menus. But, if you can keep a remote, and you would like a good, [reasonably priced] DVD player, this is for you.

Summary: Exellent Product
Review: I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift for Christmas 2000. Even though we are not the most technically minded people, setup and use have been a breeze! We've never had a problem with the DVD player.We recently bought a low-price home theatre system and were pleasantly surprised to find out that this DVD player not only plays CD's as advertised, but also some home-made CD-Rs, even though the packaging says it wouldn't. An excellent product, and an excellent price. I've recommended this to many friends!

Review: I've has this player for about a year now and haven't had a single problem with it. Although this is my first DVD player and I have no frame of reference, it does fulfill my needs completely and I would recommend this machine to anybody who wants a reliable and inexpensive DVD player. If playing DVDs is all you intend to use your player for, this model will suit you just fine.

Summary: BANG!!!! for your buck
Review: With a bunch of online coupons, I managed to buy this player over a year ago. I don't think you'll find a better deal. This thing simply gets the job done. Setup is super easy, and I've never had any picture problems whatsoever. I feel bad for all everyone who has to sit through glitchy picture problems. (like my sister who has a much more expensive Sony that I bought for her before I did the research)

Summary: AWESOME DVD Player
Review: Both my parents and my grandparents own this dvd player and they love it. My grandparents have had theirs for a year and my parents for 4 months. The great thing that impressed me about the dvd player was the quality of the picture matched with a price you can't beat. It only took about 30 minutes to hook it up and we were off to watching movies with extreme precision in video quality. If you were going to buy a dvd player for home or school, then this is the one.

Review: it worked good for a year. all the dvd ive bought worked fine but recently i purchased Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the subtitles turn themselves on. you cant control it.
so dont buy this dvd player if you like monty python.

Review: I'm not the type of person who's normally interested in writing product reviews or any reviews for that matter, but I had to for this. This is an awesome DVD player not only for the price but for picture quality, functionality and ease of use. I bought it for my boyfriend last year for Christmas after extensive research on which DVD player to buy, and to this day almost a year later, I am still amazed at how crisp the picture quality is and how smooth the performance of the player has been. In my opinion if you've been looking for a DVD player to buy and you've been confused and frustrated with all the comparisons with features and prices and reviews, honestlly you should look no further. It has all the features i wanted in a DVD player simple but essential, the zoom and option to view different camera angles, the black level adjustment, 550 lines resolution, etc., etc. It doesn't have all the super fancy bells and whistles but it has enough perks to make your DVD watching experience a happy one. In my opinion you'll just be paying extra $ on feautres you're probably not going to use very often. This machine does it's job superbly and at a great price you just can't beat. It's definitely a solid investment. Best of all after a year, I'm happy to see that people still have nothing but great things to say about this player. It makes me feel good about my purchase and I'm about to buy another one for my boyfriend's parents for christmas!

Review: Remote control only works within a couple feet of the machine. The unit is not compatible with my Sony universal remote. Perhaps just mine is a lemon.

Summary: Good for the price, can be better
Review: I bought this DVD player from Amazon some months ago. I was able to connect it to my TV and receiver in few minutes without any problem. It's working very well since the first moment. The only problem I found is when I jump from one part to the other of the DVD: it's very slow. For example, it takes 10-15 seconds just to start a new DVD, and if I want to jump to a different item of the DVD menu I have to wait 10-20 seconds. Also, if you plan to use it to play CD, as I do, you have to know that it will not recognize sub-index entries (used in some classical music CD) and you will miss a random play mode.
