Summary: Suitable for India!
Review: Well, I've only watched a few DVDs on the 302V, but I have to say I am pretty happy. The player does all that was advertised and more! As to playing different region DVDs, it actually has a remote button to switch among NTSC, PAL, and multi-region. No hacks needed! I WILL say that I am slightly disappointed in some artifacts on the screen, primarily bleeding of color into white letters when the credits roll. But this may be more my composite video connections. I'll likely get a Monster Cable S-video hookup. Also, I have to confirm others' comments on the remote. It does a lot, and the buttons are well-spaced, but it is confusing as hell to use and there appears little logic to how it is laid out. It also would be nice to have Power On/Off on the remote.

Summary: Amazing player - suspiciously cheap
Review: What do you expect for fifty bucks? How about a player to knock your socks off? I wanted to watch PAL Region 2 DVD's (yeah I'm a Brit) and have been looking long and hard for a player that would do this. Most seem to be sold by fly by night operations. But this baby is sold by Amazon and works. Beautifully. Got it out the box. Followed the hack instructions (see other reviews) put in my Region 2 PAL version of The Matrix and it played with no fuss and no muss - except in the freeway scene they drive on the left...OK I'm kidding now. Then I put in an NTSC Region 1 disk and that works too with no fiddling. And the player is pretty! Super slim and silvery. I can't believe it honestly. Seems too good to be true, but there it is. If you want to play cross region CDs, run don't walk to get this player. Cheers.

Summary: Sexy little player, capable of playing any DVD worldwide
Review: Whilst this may not be the most technologically advanced or sleakest looking machine on the market, I challenge you to find a more user-friendly DVD player which can be manipulated without opening the machine or doing anything illegally into playing any DVD not just from any region but also PAL or NTSC thanks to it's changable format. My player doesn't even require changing every time a new region or format DVD is put in - it automatically reads the DVD and changes itself to be able to play it. For less then forty dollars, you really couldn't ask more. It's a small design but the remote is fully functional and of good size - certainly no tiny little buttons to fiddle around with. I am absolutely delighted with the player for its usability and cost.
