Summary: Not multiregional!
Review: As far as I can tell this DVD does not read DVD's from europe. I have them, and I get a message stating 'wrong region'. You can take this to Europe and watch North American DVD's with the PAL output. If anyone has read european DVD's with this product please let me know.

Otherwise, for the price it's a fine unit.

Summary: Suitable for India!
Review: Bought this DVD player recently. I got the player delivered at my home the very next day of my order. I played some NTSC & PAL VCDs. Both played very well without even a single change. It's a very good buy if you are going to India. It's very sleek, so easy to carry. The only problem i noticed is, if your MP3 CD contains folders, it won't pass thro' them. I made a CD with DVD files. It even played that, though the display shows miniDVD(?).

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Excellent player, and looks great, too.
I have not tried it in multiregion mode or at 240V, but have no doubts it will work.
Despite what Thai Dang Vu said in his review, DP300 IS in fact 240-volt compatible. I was slightly puzzled when I looked at the label on the back (of DP300) indicating it's 120V. I then called Norcent technical support, who told me that since my player was from a batch manufactured for sale in US, it mentioned only the 120, but that all units work at 240. I then called my friend in Europe for whom this player was a gift, and a few minutes later he informed me that the player works like a charm. He has a PAL TV, and was able to view US DVDs I sent him, as well as region-free and region-locked DVDs from UK, Russia, China, and Italy (I stopped following up at that point :)
This time I purchased 2 302Vs, tried them here in the US just to see if they work (and they do), mailing them to my relatives in Europe now.
By the way, Norcent's Tech Support is fantastic, they pick up quickly (1-2 minutes) and will answer any of your questions -- feel free to inquire about specific countries / regions / voltages.

Summary: dvd player is PERFECT for me
Review: for the money this is awesome. i have a really nice powered surround speaker system for my computer but i don't really need it for my computer. so i got this dvd player and hooked up my surround sound to the dvd players 5.1 rca outputs. this is the cheapest dvd player i've found with the built in dd decoder. plus this player plays vcd's and svcd's, i've tested them. and i've heard of a region-free hack but haven't tried it. the picture quality is really good. i can't see any difference between it's picture quality and playstation 2's dvd player's picture quality. but i have seen worse. and i have the component video output so it's really nice. i think the remote is very user-friendly and responsive but not that stylish. the remote also has all of the buttons you want. and the set-up menu is pretty useful. there are a good amount of useful things you can mess around with in it.
what i don't like about the dvd player is it's compact size. it's not full component size so it looks a little weird, but i don't really care. also the buttons on the front of the dvd player are kinda cheap. that's it really.

Summary: Fatal Coincidence
Review: I bought this DVD player for use with a 1997 model Zenith 25' TV. It's my first DVD player, so I can't compare it with others, but it seems fine. I don't think it has a significant problem with lines as they say non-progressive scan machines do. There are lots of ways to adjust it if you study the manual. However, the color on my TV suddenly went partially out one day after using it only a few times.

Summary: Worth for the price
Review: I initially bought coby dvd player which supposed to be suitable for pal/ntsc and dual voltage. But It didn't play VCDs. This Item is very good in look ,slimmer and smaller than coby.It plays almost all dvd and vcd players.

Other than the size of the Remote everything about this dvd player is good.I recommend this for people whoever wanted to take this to india.

Summary: Great!!!!
Review: I just ordered this to replace my Cyberhome CH-500 which is for my HK movies that are Region 3. I originally heard great reviews about the Cyberhome so I got it and I didn't like it that much. When I received this....I was amazed at the size of it. It's small and slim....very nice. The built is better than the Cyberhome....which felt cheap. I recommend this for a cheap little player to have.

Also, the region free code does work. Very nice!!!
