Description:
Norcent's affordable DP-302V features dual NTSC/PAL video outputs, built-in MP3 decoding, and a dual-laser pickup for compatibility with not only DVDs and CDs, but MP3-filled CD-Rs and CD-RWs as well. Top-of-the-line component-video outputs help minimize digital and line-scan artifacts on compatible advanced televisions, while composite- and S-video outputs bring compatibility with nearly any television. In the audio realm, the unit offers Dolby Digital 5.1-channel decoding and passthrough, so you can enjoy immersive, theater-like surround sound with just about any multichannel receiver and speaker setup. Some older audio/video receivers do not offer digital-audio inputs or discrete multichannel surround processing, but do feature the appropriate analog inputs for use with a surround-decoding DVD player such as the DP-302V. If you do have Dolby Digital decoding in your AV receiver, you can use either of the player's digital-audio outputs (one each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for a direct digital connection. Playback options include an onscreen menu, parental lock, resume/memory play, eight-grade fast or slow motion, nine-image digest viewing, memory play, A-B repeat, and picture zoom.
