The system performs Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel audio decoding for enveloping surround sound and high-impact bass. Dolby Pro Logic II generates 5.1-channel signals from any stereo source, so even if you're listening to one of the receiver's 30 preset radio stations, you can still listen in discrete, multichannel surround sound. Each of the five satellite speakers (left, center, right, and left/right surround) receives 30 watts, and the 6-inch subwoofer gets a generous 50 watts. A built-in FM/AM tuner lets you listen to the radio with drift-free PLL tuning, and a headphone jack affords private listening. The system comes with a handy remote control for operation from the comfort of your viewing position.
