Description:

About the size of a box of cookies and not much more expensive, Symphonic's affordable SD300D features high-end component-video outputs, built-in MP3 decoding, and playback compatibility with recordable DVD media, including video mode DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD-RW, and DVD-R. Give the player as a gift to someone you want to share your home movies with, put one in the rec room, enliven your kitchen, or simply make your start in the exciting world of DVD with this compact, affordable player.

Top-of-the-line component-video outputs help minimize digital and line-scan artifacts on compatible advanced televisions, while composite- and S-video outputs bring nearly universal compatibility. If you have an older set with only an RF (threaded coaxial) audio/video jack, you'll need to pick up an RF video modulator as well.

Controls include Still-Frame, Frame Advance, and Slow Motion (forward and back: 1/2x, 1/8x, 1/16x), Picture Zoom (2x and 4x), and Four-Step High-Speed Scan Search (2x, 8x, 50x and 100x). Enjoy up to 99-track sequencing from CDs for your music listening--perfect for those MP3 compilations--and resume playback, which picks up where you last stopped the loaded disc.

A set of left/right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's coaxial digital-audio output for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver.

If you don't have a surround receiver or six-channel speaker setup, you can still make every movie night the ultimate experience: the player simulates surround sound through any two speakers (even the stereo speakers on your TV).

What's in the Box
DVD player, remote control, remote batteries, user's manual (English and Spanish), and stereo analog audio interconnect/composite-video cable.
