It even plays CDs brimming with MP3 music files, letting you enjoy hours of handpicked music from the Internet or from your own CD collection. The D-2000AN offers an easy-to-read VFD (vacuum-fluorescent display), multilingual menu support, and multi-angle and multiple subtitle options with applicable DVD titles. Connections include composite- and S-video outputs, which accommodate most televisions. Older sets may require input through a threaded RF jack; if your TV does not offer a composite-video (yellow RCA) input, you'll need an optional video modulator to convert the DVD player's composite- or S-video signal to RF. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio output (RCA-type coaxial) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver.
