Summary: A Nightmare
Review: We bought ours on sale to take on a four hour car trip with a 5 year old. It worked for 1 hour, we then had to deal with a cranky child that wanted to know why he could not watch the movies we told him he could watch. Then 2 days later was the return trip. We will be looking for a name brand to replace this one.

Summary: Works Wonderful
Review: We have had our unit for almost a year and it works wonderful. The battery life is a little short, but we got an external battery that powers it for 10-12 hours. This has worked quite well on overseas flights which are 9+ hours. This is our second unit. The first one which has a square screen, is used as a security monitor for an out door camera. It has been in use for over two years. The 7" for the price was an excellent value. If it breaks it is a much cheaper reinvestment.

Summary: Not a good choice.
Review: We here in Iraq have just a few choices for portable dvd players, and this is not a good one. Player player stops all of the time while playing a movie. We have to stop it and start it again and hope to get a little futher in the movie.
