Review: When I read the reviews from this dvd I had to give it a try. They were right, I'm impressed. This dvd has all the features I expected from dvd from the start. The sound is impressive and envolving, the picture quality based in IMAX film is terrific. Moreover, the story has adrenaline and nostalgia in equal shares. This movie was not only made for racing car fans, DVD and movie lovers will be also moved by it. Also, the making of documentary is top notch. You can see the professionalism and tender loving care that was put in this film. One of the best things is that Mario & Michael Andretti do not try to steal the show. They add experience and a sense of reality that makes you think you're watching an actual race. If you ever wondered why dvd exists, this is the answer. This might be the best DVD I own.

Summary: I dont even like watching racing and this DVD rocks!
Review: If you have a dolby digital surround system, you MUST get this DVD - period. Everyone who has seen this DVD on my system (and my system isnt even that great) has totally fallen in love with Home Theater. I have seen people sway to and fro as the racing car goes around curves.

Review: Have any of you home theater enthusiast ever heard this disc with a meridian processor + meridian speakers and a sunfire sub? If you haven't, leave your monitor now and do yourself a favor... ring up a retailer who can give you that setup and book a demo. It was that good, it made my eyes water...and this movie wasn't even a romatic comedy.

Review: The cinematography and audio are some of the best I have ever seen. Period. I HIGHLY recommend the DVD version with the Dolby Digital sound. Also, the DVD has an extra hour bonus section on the making of it. Very well worth it.

Review: This is an absolute MUST for anyone who has a good 5.1 system, but especially if you have a subwoofer.The story was facinating, even for my wife, who thoroughly enjoyed it. If you're a CART fan, you'll absolutely love it. The dual story lines was a terrific idea, and it worked very well, and the end tied it all together. CRANK UP THE VOLUME ...

Review: If I were to go out and produce a film that captured the essence of Andretti and the cars that makeup this genre, this would be the film. An enjoyable film that will be watched over and over again. The filming, the editing, the action, the impact, the explosive force of these cars is awesome. Highly recommended to anyone!

Summary: THE ONLY DVD I'D OWN
Review: I have thoroughly researched the topic and tried literally hundreds of DVD's. To date, this is the BEST at "exercising" your DD AC-3 5.1 (hopefully THX certified) Home Theatre. The story is interesting, the photography is outstanding, the cars are fast, and the sound is enveloping. I rent most of my DVD's... if I could only own 1 DVD it would be THIS!
