Summary: War and the impact on human life.
Review: This is an original and extraordinary documentary that delivers meaningful, real life stories about war. I found each story to be honest and genuine expressions of the impact that war has had on the survivors. The primary focus of the film is based on testimony from a number of individuals whose lives were altered as a result the conflict. The individual stories are purposely told with an emphasis on the suffering, not the cause or blame or an allegiance to a cause.

Summary: War from the Women's Perspective
Review: This is the first documentary I have seen that deals with war (the Vietnam War) from the perspective of the women. The filmmaker (widowed herself by the Vietnam War) goes back to where her husband was killed 20 years ago and interviews other widows from both sides. This film shows the true human cost of war and brings up compelling questions. A must see!

Summary: Regret To Inform
Review: This sentimental movie sends a very strong anti-warfare signal to the audience via asking lots of emotional questions to those who suffered from the Vietnam Var. Most people cried during the interview, which was part of the design from the author. From the surface, author was successful to present the idea.

During the interview author did not include the questions in the film, there existed some level of uncertainty about the truth behind the scene. Were interviewees leaded to the corner by the author's intended questions so that the answers became pretty much predictable?

The peak of film supposed to come when the author arrived the destination where her husband died. This section of the film was a little disillusioned. There are not many questions left for the audience but silent emptiness.

Summary: Something Real
Review: This tale of the incredible heart break on both sides of the Viet Nam war left with with tears streaming down my face. It is an incredible illustration of what war really is, and leaves you questioning who the enemy really is.

If you are looking for a well written film telling about the wonderful actions of our brave American soldiers, this film is not for you. If you want to hear the truth about the horrible tradgedy of war, and its cost on both sides of the line..get this film.
