Review: Michael Moore profits from exploiting all of the misgivings and myths about American society around the world. His books are not simply best sellers here, but abroad as well, and he does more to stir hate of America than any other American. It is the ability to criticize the establishment that makes America great, but he has taken this to absurd lengths that often have little bearing in reality and do not espouse the good parts of American society. Clearly, he was beaten as a child for being so fat and ugly.

Review: Breathtaking, funny and deeply saddening at the same time. This is an amazing story of a man whos sees the enormous rate at which americans kill each other, and trys to find reasons why..I was surprised at the amount of negative reviews, but then I read that there are over 4 million members of the NRA. But if ya dont trust me, just look at all the top 1000 reviewers. After I saw this film I did my own research and found that all the facts in the film were correct, apart from a few sneaky cutaways of heston, and he does come off in a bad light. But at the time he was head of the largest lobby in DC promoting easy access to as many guns possible to whoever wanted them - which has created a lot of heartache in the USA,vicious circle isnt it?

Review: There are many reviews giving this movie a bad rating becuase Moore is a "anti" American and is trying to bring the government down. This movie will not be a big hit in France as one reviewer put it becuase the French dont kill thousands of their follow frenchmen. This movie give you a shock on gun violence in this country. When i first saw this movie i was shocked at some of the numbers given in the movie and i did research those numbers becuase i couldnt believe that they could be true, but sadly enough they are. Many of the reviews are probably just giving this movie a bad rating becuase of Moore's Oscar Speech, which is wrong. This movie was good enough to win an OSCAR!!! That tells you how good this movie really is. P.S. there is Bowling in this movie.

Review: This is the newest movie from political satirist Michael Moore ("Roger and Me", "Stupid White Men") about the rising gun violence in America. As usual, Michael Moore go across America searching for his victims and suportors, including checking out a loan at a bank that sells guns and talking with fomer Columbine student and South Park creator Matt Stone. This is a great documentary about the current state of violence in America. He explains how gun violence is the highest in America. He also shows that some of the so-called "influences" of teens and even adults causing violence are irrational. Kudos to Michael Moore for another great look at American society!!!

Review: Bowling for Columbine is a must-see for anyone who is interested in watching a film that is moving, humorous, and thought-provoking. This movie left me off-kilter and longing to talk about it for days. It's unfortunate that many people can't view a movie like this with an open mind. It is a compelling conversation starter about issues that really matter. If Michael Moore is too liberal or outspoken for you, then definitely pick up the Book "Culture of Fear" that is featured in this film. The author is interviewed briefly by Moore in the film. The book adds further insight and facts into a disturbing and important topic. Buy this movie, gather together some friends who know how to discuss issues, liberal or conservative, watch the movie, and enjoy an evening of meaningful converation. Perhaps when we're all done talking about this issue, we'll actually do something about it.

Review: Personaly, i though this film was wonderful. But what people say is true. Its one sided. Thats why its probably not for someone who is undecided in the area of gun control. I also think that its kinda sad that everyone is pointing out a total of about 5 things that have been altered in the film and calling it a Fakeumentry or whatever. And to the man denouncing the film because he was expecting a bowling movie! How closed minded can you be! There is NOTHING the says it is (apart from the title which is refering to the little known fact that the Columbine Killers went bowling before school that day) And in no way was Manson portrayed as being evil! open your eyes! All that he said in the interview was that we need to listen to kids and not tell them what to do per say. How is that evil. And where did he get the thought that Manson drinks childrens blood! I mean come on! Im definetly not a manson fan but be open and relize what this is all about! So i say that you should see the movie and decide for yourself if you like it! Right-wingers are trying to make an uproar and denounce the film just cause they dont like it! oh well, enjoy!

one lie after another. one 1/2 truth followed by a twisted situation. this movie is as much a documntary as star wars is.
