Summary: Hilarious fun while watching nature at its best
Review: This is one of my all-time favorite videos. It is extremely entertaining, with it's "Gods Must Be Crazy" flavor. I recommend it to anyone who loves the less conventional side of nature.

Rating: 4 stars

Summary: A charming and witty nature film
Review: This movie is a favorite with adults and children alike. My biggest regret is that I've never found another nature movie like it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: the best kept secret
Review: this movie was fun to watch, my children enjoyed it and asked questions about wild life in general. My children learned about the animals in a different way

Summary: a manipulated movie- while watching question what is natural
Review: This movie was very beautiful and funny. The music was well coreographed also. My children and I enjoyed watching it. Never a dull moment. HOWEVER, upon follow up about the Marula fruit trees, we found that the 'intoxification' of the baboons and other animals was man-induced (see wildwatch.com). It is impossible for elephants and baboons to become intoxicated eating this fruit, though people harvest it for this purpose. There is evidence of other manipulation in the movie (the possible burning of a huge bird condominium). I abhore that people would abuse the animals in these or any other ways.

Summary: Hats of to Jamie usys
Review: When I was a small boy, back in India, my father took us to show us this film in Regal Cinema, Bombay (Now Mumbai),he always wanted we kids to grow up loving nature, and now after 16 years I remembered this movie and got it for my 4 year old son to grow with.
Jamie Usys has produced a fantastic film and appreciate the efforts that he and his team put through to make this great master piece...Mother nature sometime harsh...sometimes beautiful and always caring in every way!!

Summary: Captivating look at S.African desert animal/plant life
Review: With understated humor and wit this video explores the plant and animal life of the various South African deserts. The patience of the photographers in capturing the idiosyncracies of these unusual desert creatures rewards the viewer with a palette of very interesting and captivating vignettes, which make the animals seem to come to life as "beautiful people." A highlight was watching the elephants, warthogs, monkeys and other animals stagger around after "imbibing" on the rotting marilla fruit. If you enjoy seeing nature explored with an inquisitive mind and a smile you will find this video worthwhile viewing.

Review: [A]ll my grown children, grandkids, greatgrandkids plus friends of all ages have enjoyed this movie because it is not: violent nor filled with the chase/kill. To have a true life movie that fills us with many laughs and 'yes' a tear or two .. might also remind us that "we can find a good laugh in life" no matter how hard we think our problems are!
