Summary: Frustrating
Review: We received the original shipment within 3 days which was great, unfortunately it took another 30 days to get the replacement parts for the pieces that were delivered broken. It took numerous phone calls and emails to get replacement pieces, which resulted in another unit being sent so we could piece meal the unit together. Even returning the broken pieces was a big hassle. Assembly wasn't horrible but took some time. At the end of the day it is a beautiful piece of furniture however not worth all of hassles to get it.

Review: I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my partner. It arrived with two piesces broken and one essential piece was missing. In trying to return this there have been numerous snags and twists and as of today, more than two months after Christmas, I still do not have my credit.

Summary: Worth the time and effort
Review: I ordered this cabinet because it was the best looking corner unit we could find. I thought that it was offered at a fair price so we bought it. Then I read the reviews and was a little worried. Well, it really wasn't that bad, but it did take several hours to put together. I was impressed by the thickness of the material but disappointed at some of the short cuts used in manufacturing. All in all I'd say that I got monies worth and the cabinet looks great. I recommend a cordless drill to ease assembly but be sure to set the clutch to the lowest level. Also, I would pre-drill any of the holes using they appropriate size bits as this really helps. Glue in the dowels.(even Elmers glue will work fine) This will firm up the cabinet and increase the strength of these joints. Also, I was able to stuff a 32 inch JVC flat screen TV into this unit after I cut the back sides out with a roto-saw. You can't see it as I made the front part of the side act as a flap and only removed the material I had to from the back part of the side. This unit will be very heavy when loaded and you must be very careful when moving it into position or you will weaken the legs.

Summary: Beauty and Time
Review: I recently purchased this piece of furniture and it is very lovely and rich looking. The wood is exquisite. It has loads of space and fits our Television perfectly. It really enhanced the room and looks even better then the photo. The only challenge is putting it together. My S.O. took about 6 hours to assemble the unit and it contains about 500 pieces (screws and such included). Not Kidding. But it was well worth the time and effort. We are very pleased with the end results and truly love it! I would recommend it to anyone who has a little time of their hands for a little furniture assembly bonding. :-) And POWER tools are highly recommended!

Summary: for patient souls
Review: Packaging and delivery service is sub-standard. I have taken delivery of three separate units. First delivery, broken parts, second and third delivery arrived same day and left unattended on front porch! Fortunately I was able to assemble one full cabinet from the two deliveries!! Corner cabinets are difficult to find. It's ashame Field's can't find a producer able to provide quality workmanship. If you have patience, assembly will take two days. It's a handsome piece. Worth the trials since August 12th.
